I am not the woman I imagined myself to be when my mother was 43- facts
I've opened myself up for the first time, and I feel like people can use this against me.
@letoile24 I have finally opened up as well. I first started talking to my best friends, then eventually my wife. I've finally talked about a decade of things that I've secretly been dealing with. The support I've received has been amazing but whenever someone subconsciously judges me or makes a comment, it hurts that much worse. I'm still working through things, I hope they're going well for you!
Am I the only one that hates weekends?
Whatever I do...I just can't connect with people. So lonely and feel it's never going to be any different.
@imaginativePlum3083 me too. I hate attending tutorial classes on weekends
The future is so uncertain and Im bad at waiting. I️ need reassurance when I️ know it wont come
I have been taking care of my grandma lately and today she refused to eat or take any of her medicine. I feel like its all my fault and that I am not good enough to help.
I had a hard time sleeping due to stress and anxiety. I got maybe 3-4 hours of interrupted sleep as a result of participating in a sleep study (used to diagnose sleep disorders and, in my case, whether or not I have sleep apnea).
Before bedtime, I accidentally dropped my night guard on the hospital floor and was worried I'd get sick from it. Thankfully, it was a low-traffic area and the technician assured me that the sleep clinic rooms get cleaned thoroughly every day, between patients. I washed it and scrubbed it with hot water, to be sure.
I had electrodes stuck to my skin and wires all over me. The mattress with thin and hard, and I had to be clothed to sleep, which I'm normally not. I was woken up at 6am. I still need to get the electrode goop and a few electrode patches off my skin, but I'm exhausted and just want to sleep a few more hours. My bed sheets need to be washed anyway, so I don't see the harm in sleeping a bit longer. Even if it tangles my hair, the goop comes out easily with shampoo in the shower. I'm just so tired.
I'm thankful I have access to such medical services. The technician was very kind and answered all my questions. I just feel right now like I've been wrung through the ringer. Last night and today has been like a comedy of errors (on my part) and I'm beat.
I let my anger out and I feel I have much more left
Today I am feeling vulnerable because my brain keeps telling me I'm a piece of shit. I feel like any small insult or failure will hit me super hard right now.
I feel like I'm failing everything I touch
because i feel like i'm a burden to everyone or if not, i'm just useless anyway.
