Are people treating you like you are unlikable?

Do you often notice that people just do not like you without a reason but prefer another person over you?

@sunnyBeing9278

I feel the same way sometimes, nobody likes me, etcetc. i just try to remember that they're not 'my people'! everyone's likeable to the right people....but it sucks waiting to find 'the right ppl'

@Betterdays14 the thing that one fits in only with "the right people" is an example of human moral depravity.

@sunnyBeing9278 Story of my life. I just don't get it. I'm not sure if I should try harder or back off. I reach out to check on folks, I try to make plans, etc. But then I usually notice it's just me doing the reaching out and when I stop, the friendship dies. I had surgery and none of my "friends" checked in to see how I'm doing. That was hurtful. It wasn't a major surgery, but still. I even opened my home up to them since they were going to a festival a block away from my home. Parking is crazy so I told them they could park and leave their stuff at my place to make it easier. I got a ticket before tickets sold out so I could swing by for a bit. Anyway, not a single phone call or text. I did get some auto-message about karaoke tonight. I feel hurt. To be honest, I often just find it's better to keep to myself.

I feel this often too. Tho I wonder if depression makes feel this way rather than it actually being true.
