How did you hear about seven cups of tea ?
My bestfriend named Google brought me here. 😃
I share a iT
unes with one of my friends and I saw it on her recently added apps
I was beginning to lose control. I usually watch a video about suicide stories (not triggering) and things would do well. but today it didn't. so i googledonline helping sites for depression then i came here. i'm so glad i did.
TRUMBLR
My friend told me to come to this site because it had helped him. He was struggling with suicidal thoughts and the site really helped him. When I was struggling he told me to come here. It's great :)
I was in a car accident last week, which was a very traumatic experience for me (it took a lot of therapy to even get me to sit behind the wheel in years past). Since I'm not mobile now, I feel that getting to and from therapy, especially with my schedule, would be difficult. I did a search for "online therapy". I found some sites, but "7 Cups of Tea" really sparked my interest. I decided to become a listener and I found the site really interesting. Helping others feels so satisfying and by listening, I actually feel that I can better help myself.
I heard about 7 Cups of Tea from the Apple app store, which was one of the four sites I checked out before deciding on this site and actually downloaded the app on my iPhone 6 but it's too small in my opinion. I plan on obtaining a bigger iPhone so am able to use the app more than a regular computer. So far one listener on the site has been real helpful in listening to my concerns but I hope to find the individual again. I hope to go through the ACT Model on the 7 Cups of Tea forum and become trained within the next six months to help others like it has helped me so far. Thanks founders for this great app and site!!
I was on Twitter late one night feeling quite down in the dumps, when I saw a Twitter account tweet about websites that are useful to know about and sure enough 7 Cups of Tea was on that list! I automatically visited the website, and spoke to a few listeners, since then I have been a trained listener on here and haven't looked back!
I heard about it from a tumblrblog. After that, 7 cups of tea kept being mentioned, and I only heard positive things about it, which seemed strange, because websites with people who are anonymous usually have lots of mean people. This website seems to be the exception though.
I was looking for someone to talk to when I was going though a rough time. Mylistener said that she thought that I would be a good listener here. So I have now been a pretty constistant person here for almost 2 months
