I am not worth anyones time or attention
Well it’s not true. There are a lot of people here who will give you a listen. I suggest you stay with the chat rooms, as there’s usually people there willing to talk
@walkalot they usually chitchat and direct me to a listener.
@helloCranberry5684
I am a listener. You are totally welcome to come and talk, whenever you want : )
@helloCranberry5684. I understand how you feel and I'm sorry you feel this way too.
I think most people want to help but in my experience once I start to tell someone everything that is going on with me and about my past, it is too much. They probably just don't know how to help.
💙
@Psalm139 It has been done when presented with simple problems too. They just leave.
@helloCranberry5684 I'm sorry 😞. I know it's hard feeling like a burden. That's how I feel a lot anyway. I don't want to tell you how you feel. Have you tried the sharing circle? It's different than the other rooms. You get in the queue and then when it's your turn you get 7 minutes to share. No one asks questions, just gives support. And you don't have to compete to be heard. I've had a really good experience there. It might be worth a try💙
@Psalm139
I would like to listen to you too.
Feel free to send me a message whenever you want.
@helloCranberry5684
Hello Cranberry, please don't give up. You should try the listener Professionalvision2624. I chat with her a few times a week, and she is awesome. Please do not give up. You are worth the work it takes to get you well. GOD bless.
@helloCranberry5684
It looks like you have been through a lot with many people in order to say that. I am sorry!
I believe every single person deserves to be heard and to be taken care of, no matter who they are or what they did it. I don't believe in such a thing such one deserves others' time or effort, and others don't. Everybody does.
7 Cups for the Searching Soul is a great article. Do you know what Cup 1 stands for? It stands for open; share what is on your heart with another caring person.
Here in 7Cups you can find very good caring listeners, who really care!
You have been through a lot with people. It is clear that you have unhealthy relationships. It is time to work on that. According to Cup 1, it is time to start spending less time with people who drains your energy, to nurture the relationships that make you stronger and happier, and to chose to spend time with people not based on how they are close to you or how much you have spent together, but on how much happy you feel with them
@helloCranberry5684
I understand how you feel and I'm sorry you feel this way too.
I know it's hard to control your emotions but i don't think you are weak enough to let em on you. So what i suggest is to take care of yourself. And wait for someone who is going to understand and care for you.
If you ever feel like need to talk to someone, I'm here for you
@Miraculoussummer6345 weak enough? Really?
@helloCranberry5684
Yes!!
I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with you, but if you want to feel better about yourself I would recommend learning to love yourself. Learn to listen to your body, take care of it’s needs, distance yourself from people that intentionally hurt you or that you feel very uncomfortable around, learning to spend time with yourself will help you immeasurably. You will learn to replenish yourself when you feel drained, to get in touch with your body and its needs and to become self-reliant. You will gain confidence and respect yourself. Maybe try meditation, exercise, learn about trauma (this could be where these negative experiences are coming from, I know they have for me) learn books, try new things. Best of luck. You will find that in time, things change for the better when you become disciplined, and practice daily habits. You become what you do and you become most influenced by the 5 people you are around the most so choose wisely.
@helloCranberry5684 Same. Can't relate more.
I feel the same way too and these
You deserve the better. Ignore them and believe in yourself. They are worthy of your time and patience. Love yourself
@Veron2903 "They are worthy of your time and patience". Who? abusive people?
I am so sorry. I actually meant "They are NOT Worthy of your time and patience. LOVE YOURSELF" I guess the sentence got autocorrected by mistake
@helloCranberry5684 I am so sorry that you feel this way! I understand how people can make you feel this, but knowing and believing in yourself is the best way to combat it. I am still new here and struggle with many things in my life. I am learning that to overcome self-doubt and trust takes time and sometimes just getting it off your chest, out of your mind, helps a great deal. I have been told that to really get to the bottom, the crux of all issues, journaling is very helpful. Seeing a pattern in your thoughts often directs us to the most important parts of what makes us unhappy, depressed, stressed, anxious, etc. Sending hugs and prayers your way! 🙏
Hey, I feel you. Even I am going through the same pain. I know you have spent sleepless nights, crying over what went wrong, doubting yourself. It's okay friend, it's okay to feel so. Just remember we aren't alone, just like you are feeling this, someone else in the other corner of the world feels this. We are together into this.
