I’m struggling not happy in my relationship need someone to talk to.
I’ve been in a relationship for 2 years.. I’ve gotten to a point where I am not happy. I feel like my boyfriends family is too invasive and lacks boundaries. The entire 2 years we’ve been together we’ve had very little privacy. His family is always around or showing up unannounced. Even when I’m on the phone with him they are in the room listening and I just can’t take anymore. I feel like there is time to be with family and time for your significant other. I don’t think family should always be hovering around. I guess I’m trying to understand my feelings right now. Am I wrong for feeling this way? I’m to the point where I want to break up because I’ve expressed this problem many times and it does not change.

i think you are correct there is time and place for family but all up into your relationship is not it.
There should be clear boundaries
@calixbelle I'm sorry to hear what you've been going through and what you're feeling is totally valid. There should definitely be boundaries when it comes to spending time with others, especially between relationships as well as families, not have them mixed together. And you are right about that.
You do what you feel is right. You deserve your own space to share with another person. So I really hope things will work out for you and your partner soon.
