Scheme?
Scheme? Has anyone received useful help using this without paying money. Sincere person asking before I divulge into personal information.

I cannot speak for other members but I hope anyone that has felt genuinely helped might comment below 🩷

@littleTriangle23 The majority of 7 cups is free to use.
The free aspects are different than therapy, so it depends what you're looking for. Support from others who have gone through similar things? Absolutely. There are also some great resources floating around, some are official 7cups resources and others are just things people have found and choose to share.
For a 1-1 chat it helps if you have an idea of what active listening is. It's also easier for listeners who don't put in effort to pick up more chat requests, so it's not unusual to have a not so great chat when sending our MT a general request. There are some absolutely amazing listeners though! It's just often easier to connect with them by seeking them out. Browse listeners, look at listener forum posts, see what a listener says in group chat, etc.
I just signed up and I am learning more about the app. It depends what help you are looking for, for beginners you could start by reading post and reaching out to others through the available forums. If you want to share with me, you could also start a chat. All the best.
@rejuvenated01 Welcome! That's great that you've jumped in while still learning.
Member Welcome Pack might be useful.
For a 1-1 chat, at least 1 person needs to be a member.
If you continue to enjoy the forums you might be interested in the forum supporter role.
Sorry, I meant to say at least 1 person needs to be a listener, 2 members cannot chat via 1-1.
I am ready to listen. How are you doing?
@rejuvenated01 If you're interested in being a listener you can create a listener account.

Thanks. Can I create a listener account on my existing account?
@rejuvenated01 You can be signed in as a member when you click the link. They are 2 different accounts with their own username. You can use the same email address and you can switch between them by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner.
Do I sigh up afresh because I couldn't find a link to the direction from my profile settings.
@rejuvenated01 On the website, if you click your profile picture in the top right corner there's an option Become a Listener. You can also use the link I shared above.
Yes , I did get help , I talked to some really nice listeners here , but there's a catch don't trust them blindly at first don't revel identity, but yes talk about your problems that'll be fine.
Hey! I joined it as a member before becoming a listener here! It really was helpful! There are lots of amazing listeners here! Take care
@littleTriangle23
Hi, I would love to share my experience here. I’m a member from 2017. Been on and off at times. Spoke to listeners and shared views with members here. Frankly I don’t feel lonely and I don’t feel I’m struggling alone. I have read stories of success and stories that can make your heart down. Relationships, family issues, disorders. My empathy grew and my struggles seemed smaller with time. I wasn’t looking for a solution but rather a heart to hear. I came to believe that we all have hardships, traumas, problem but in our own. A kind word received was a kinder word given. Give it a try and see how supportive this community is. We’re not the same but we all have pain and wounds to heal. Please don’t hesitate to heal along. Compassion can be a cure to many and a medicine that can cure you.
All love to you 🥰
@LadyInSilence
I had no idea, it is an honour to of met you through Cups, 2 night shifts left 😁😁
@RunningMachine
you seem excited about finishing this night shift soon. What plans you have? Is it yapping here?! :p
@LadyInSilence
Lol and maybe have a chat at a time that suits us both. Friday evening is out though watching a friend impersonating Elvis
I'm new here, I talk to listeners almost every day, you can choose what you say and without going into details. I've discovered that even a conversation with the right listener can give you tools to reach self-understanding. In any case, it's not a substitute for therapy.
