Hey, I’m Jayden.
I’m someone who learned early that survival isn’t guaranteed—and that sometimes staying alive is an active choice. I’ve stood close to endings, my own and others’, close enough to feel how thin the line really is.
I’ve witnessed what can’t be unwatched.
I’ve lost someone in a way that splits time into before and after.
There are moments I carry that don’t fade, don’t soften, don’t explain themselves.
There were seasons where being here felt optional. Where continuing meant defying something heavy and convincing. Where I learned how dangerous it is to not be believed—by others or by yourself.
I don’t tell my whole story. Some truths are sharp, and some are still breathing. But I know what it’s like to live in the aftermath of violence, grief, and silence—and to keep going anyway.
That’s why I’m here.
For the ones who’ve stood at edges.
For those carrying memories that don’t translate.
For anyone who needs to be believed.
Anxiety is not weakness—it’s a nervous system that learned danger too well.
PTSD is not the past—it’s the past refusing to stay where it belongs.
Depression is not laziness—it’s grief that got tired of screaming.
Trauma doesn’t make people broken.
It makes them alert, exhausted, careful, and brave in ways no one applauds.
If your body still reacts, if your mind still revisits, if getting through the day feels like work—you are not failing. You are surviving something real.
I’m here. And I’m not leaving people alone in this.
@Jayden4theworld
'PTSD is not the past—it’s the past refusing to stay where it belongs.' it can also be the trigger for being stuck and having no sense of purpose or direction.

@Heather225 Hi everyone! I’m really excited to start my journey as a Listener. What brought me to 7 Cups is a genuine desire to be there for others and provide the kind of support I know can make a difference. I signed up to listen because I believe that everyone deserves to be heard without judgment, and I want to offer a safe space for those who need it.
In this community, I hope to find meaningful connections and learn from other experienced Listeners. My main goals are to develop my active listening skills and contribute to the supportive environment that makes 7 Cups so special. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hello everyone!
I first found this place in 2013 when I needed someone to talk to. It was called "7 cups of tea." It helped a lot, and I became a listener then, but I didn't feel like I was helping and I kind of forgot about it. Fast forward to now I am in graduate school for social work. I am super excited to be a listener to those who are in need of listening ear just like I was over 10 years ago!
@grapefruit14

Hi everyone! I’m here as a listener because I enjoy supporting others and offering a safe space to be heard. I hope to find meaningful connections and be a positive part of this community. My goal is simply to listen, learn, and help where I can.

@abdelkarimhadji hello!
Hello Everyone,
I first used 7 Cups almost 10 years ago, during a period of my life when I felt lonely and isolated. Today I'm back as a listener to complete a practicum for my social work class. I hope to sharpen my listening skills and gain experience practicing empathy. I'm excited to be back at 7 Cups in a capacity to give back what was given to me.
@RecoveryTom hi :)
@RecoveryTom
Just read your Bio, awesome that you have returned. Early days for me, PTSD is the main reason i've found 7 Cups.
Hi, I'm brand new to 7 Cups. 47 y.o. male living in South Australia. I live with Generalised Anxiety, health anxiety, depression and chronic pain. I joined the app hoping to find a good support common compliment my existing strategies.
The ironic part is that I am a qualified counsellor. I guess it's hard for us to take our own medicine sometimes. ð¤·
@BatrickSwayze
Welcome to the community! It is so good to have you here with us and I am glad you reached out to find more support and resources to better your life.
Also, you are so real for that last line! It is always much harder to take our own advice than it is to give it to others. I hope you find the connection and relief you are looking for here!
Welcome in :)
