After work yesterday, as I passed by the Medical Imaging department, I confirmed my ultrasound appointment for a Sunday in October. My Gynecologist says that with the IUD now, after discussing with her colleagues, they've been switching over to using ultrasound to check the position after insertion. We used to go back into the clinic and have them check the strings, but she made a good point. Even when they are able to see the strings, it doesn't really tell them if the position is correct. So, after my ultrasound, I'll need to make an appointment to go over the results with a phone-call appointment, then also ask about the results of the urine test she had me do on the day of the most recent insertion.

As for discussion topics, how about getting support or advice for women who have been single for more than a decade then want to date but don't know where to start? I think discussing women's health issues will be good too. Or talking about building friendships but have trust issues. (*nervous laugh*, I feel like I'm just listing my own problems).

@Jaeteuk Thank you for sharing your update about the ultrasound appointment and your gynecologist's explanation regarding the IUD. It's interesting to learn about the shift in using ultrasounds for position checks, it does make sense to have a more accurate assessment.

Your suggested discussion topics are great! They touch on important aspects of personal and relational well-being. We can definitely discuss how to navigate dating after a long single period, women's health issues, and building friendships while dealing with trust issues. These topics are relatable and can provide valuable insights and support for many.

And don't worry about listing your own concerns – it's a great way to start discussions and share experiences. We're here to support each other, so feel free to share and discuss whatever is on your mind.

If you have any more thoughts or questions, feel free to share. Have a wonderful day!

I agree with some of the topics already mentioned, especially the one about single women living fulfilling lives.

I know that sexism has already been addressed on here, but I am wondering if there are others in here that are in jobs that are male-dominated or have traditionally only been done by men. I think it would be nice to chat about that, although it might be a bit TOO specific.

@cafedaydreams Thank you for your suggestions, I take note of them. Regarding the discussion about jobs in male-dominated or traditionally male-centric fields, I appreciate your suggestion. While it may seem quite specific, delving into such topics can uncover valuable perspectives and experiences.

@Mya000 there should be a topic as "feminism" At 7 cups as when we request for women's issues most listeners think it is sexual relates... Also ignoring other parts such as patriarchy n sexism which effect women's mental health largely.. Hope my suggestions reaches you thank you.

@AutisticYouth Hello! Thank you for sharing your suggestion about adding a topic on feminism at 7 Cups. It's essential to address women's issues beyond just sexual matters and consider aspects like patriarchy and sexism, which indeed have a significant impact on women's mental health. I appreciate your input, and I actively work as a listener to support females, educate, and raise awareness about these issues on my own scale. Have a great day!
