Hey, I just found this question now and since you posted it a few years ago, you might never see my response. Anyway, I just learned in university that sometimes the problem is not only related to the ears. You might as well have something that is called an auditive perception and processing disorder where there is a problem with how the ears and the brain work together. I hope that you have found a solution or gotten help over the past few years. Otherwise, maybe you could look for a doctor that specializes in this kind of disorder. Take care
