Lacking an ego for standing up for ourselves can be similar to lacking self-esteem. When we lack self-esteem that is because we never learned to love and respect in the first place. and that we never learned to love, we never learned to respect ourselves either. We never learned how to protect us from every abuse. We never learned how can we stand up for ourselves. Maybe our feet get crumbled whenever we have to face any kind of abuse. We fail to gather enough courage even to speak up. I want to let you know that it's not you. Most of the time our parents and caregivers turned us this way during our early childhood. If you ever feel ashamed of becoming this way I want to say that there's nothing to be ashamed of. You are not alone. That there's enough room for improvement and it takes practice to learn how to stand up for ourselves. Hope you find enough courage you have been wishing for. Love.
