No two relationships are the same. No two people are the same. What is more important to you? Passion or Simplicity? Only you know the answer. Love is a delicate equilibrium. A healthy relationship is balanced. Maybe you can find a middle ground somewhere between the emotional roller coaster of high passion and the calming stability of a solid partnership. Work on yourself... What you bring to the table, how you react to your partner and your own emotions. Challenge your habits, assumptions and expectations. Keep working on you. Don't get lazy. Believe in the good intentions of others and give yourself freely without fear. Romantic love is one of most rewarding pleasures, and also one of our most challenging ventures. Look after yourself and good luck.

I've had a lot of relationships before. I've had ones that lasted years, and ones that lasted hardly a day. Perhaps it's due to the fact that I'm a hopeless romantic, or the fact that I always need something to drive my poetry, but I'd rather be in a relationship thrilling and passionate. Sure, it may be a bit complicated. But all things worth having are never easy. You only live once, and love is perhaps the greatest thing humans are gifted to feel. If you're going to love someone, you may as well love them to the ends of the Earth itself, and risk here and there for a greater happiness than stay stagnant in the bounds of "reason".

By "simple relationship" you mean no love just being with someone else? If so, i believe its important to be with someone you love even if its complicated (unless the person hurts you).

The thing with human beings are, we are never happy. When we have a challenging relationship we will say we prefer a simple one. But when we have a simple one we will say its boring and we need more challenges. The idea is to appreciate your relationship the way it is. All relationships vary and thats what makes them unique.

That is completely up to you, if you think that the complicated and passionate relationship is the way to go....then why stop yourself. Now if you are hurting yourself or your partner is, maybe you should take a step back and think about it all.

Neither. It is best to be in a relationship based on mutual love, respect, and trust. The word mutual is key because you need look out for that other person and take care of them and their needs while being able to trust they are doing the same for yours.

It is important to be in a relationship for what you feel. If the relationship is complex, then it can tend to dim the joy of the relationship, but too simple can lead to boredom. it depends on what the person can handle, honestly.

Simple relationship. Life is as complicated as it is. Don't mindfully go into something that will make life harder for you.

My head says simple and reasonable, but I know my heart will always reach out for a passionate (and usually complicated) option. Unfortunately my heart and head do to tend to work together.

It all depends on who you are and what you want. I personally prefer complicated and passionate because it makes me closer to the person.

It all depends on what works for you. Some people find an exciting relationship keeps them and their partner on their toes and makes life more interesting. Others find a simpler relationship far less stressful. It also depends on the type of person you're with and how they make you feel. But at the end of the day you have to be totally comfortable in that relationship for it to work for you. Life is too short to be with someone that doesn't do that for you.

I depends on what circumstances make the relationship very complicated. Sometimes a simple relationship might not be something you want.

I believe that it's situational. If you're looking for a complicated, deep relationship that takes a lot of time and effort, go for it. But if you're just testing the water, maybe don't have the time for a passionate relationship, keep it simple.

The question posed is quite personal, It is like asking, "do you like apple or oranges?" There really isn't a right answer to this question...the answer will vary from person to person based on their relationship needs and desires. All three factors- passion, simplicity, and reason-are essential (in my personal opinion) in a relationship.

I believe it is better to be in a very complicated but passionate relationship, the reasons for complication should be reflected and can be worked on, from my own experience it can work if both sides genuinely want it. Being in a relationship based on a reason won't bring happiness in my opinion

I would rather say it is more better to be in a simple and passionate relationship. Any kind of relationships whether simple or passionate alone can experience conflicts and can be complicated. It just depends on the individuals involved how they're going to handle it. It is not easy, but with passion, love and the willingness of the individuals to solve a conflict they can get through whatever problems may come.

Depends on what you value. The more stable one is probably the simple relationship, though the complicated one may be stable as long as issues are worked out correctly. If passion is more your thing, and you don't mind a few complications, then the passionate relationship may work. But it can also be extremely stressful. The healthier one, most of the time (of the two listed), is the simple relationship based on reason. Relationships built on reason are, on average, more stable. Stable relationships are always a good thing to have.

It is best to be in the relationship you both want to be in. If one part of the relationship wants a very complicated relationship and the other wants a simple relationship you may want to talk about it with the other person in the relationship so that you are both on the same page. There is no “better” relationship and some relationship types could be better for others.
