Making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. Imagine learning to play a piano. Mistakes are necessary. So, if you make a mistake: sit down, take some time, and treat yourself as you would a friend who had made the same mistake. We are far more forgiving of others than we are of ourselves.

Try to think of mistakes as great learning opportunities. Feel the joy of figuring out the correct way to solve a problem. Think about making mistakes as a side effect of being human, about being the beautifully imperfect creatures we all are. Think about what you didn't make a mistake on, this will make you feel more encouraged. Tell yourself, "If I did that, I can do this too. Thanks to this mistake, I now have the opportunity to learn something new!"

Making mistakes is human; everyone is prone to them! But realizing that there is such thing as a second chance really helps. Taking that leap to attempt whatever it is you're going for can be a real confidence boost, too, which may help reduce that feeling of discouragement.

Perhaps look at each mistake as a learning experience! Every mistake gives you an opportunity to grow as a person by looking at where you went wrong and how you could better handle a similar situation in the future!

The most important thing about making mistakes, is learning from them. It's ok to feel bad after making a mistake, but it's important not to dwell on it. Just think to yourself "what can I learn from this?" "what can I do to prevent myself from making the same mistake?".

Just accept that from every mistake, you can learn. Failure is just a stepping stone to success. It does not matter how big the mistake is or how others would have done it. All you have to know, is that it was your mistake, not someone else's, and you can best learn from it. You can also teach others what you have learned.

It sounds so cliche but the biggest thing to do is learn from them. Make sure to get up when you fall, lean on people for support if you need it and refuse to make the same mistakes.

When we accept so-called failures and mistakes as part of learning any skill and as opportunities to improve, they suddenly stop being damaging. They become crucial to finding the adjustments we need to make in order to achieve our goals. Think of anything you learned to do in your life, most likely you didn’t get it right the first time, but through practice and dedication you eventually succeeded.

Everyone makes mistakes, it's part of what makes us human, if we didn't make mistakes we would be gods, and that would be too much of a responsabilty so lucky us that we are capable of making mistakes :)

Everyone makes mistakes! I know that doesn't always make us feel better, but it does help sometimes. Look, you aren't perfect and you can't be perfect, but that's ok! An unfortunate side effect of being imperfect is that you sometimes make mistakes. But the good thing about mistakes is that they can often teach us something. If you try to look for a lesson in your mistakes, it's easier to stay positive. It's pretty cliché, but think about how many times Thomas Edison made a mistake when he was working on the lightbulb. He learned from each mistake and eventually got it right!

give yourself permission to make mistakes; nobody's perfect and every single person has made/will make mistakes at some point in their lives. give everything you do your best effort so even if you fail at something, you'll know you did the best you could and you should find comfort/motivation in that, rather than focusing on the failure.
