...See more How do I build routines for myself in terms of discipline in studying and fulfilling promises I've told myself? How do I relive the motivation and grit to thrive in this course despite every problem I have today? How should I get back on track coming from a deep healing borh emotionally and mentally without needing to open up to my parents (bcs worse case scenario, they couldn't understand)?

...See more I am a 20-year-old nursing student, balancing church, school, home, and personal problems. I self-diagnosed as having CPTSD. My problem is that, when I look back at myself before, when I was still in my first year, I would find myself as very competitive, diligent in studying, and more passionate in this course. She is disciplined and trusts herself that she can do it and will do it no matter what the odds are. She also had a situationship alongside it. After the situationship ended, her life took a wild turn. What was expected as an academic comeback drew out the worst of her childhood traumas, unable to recover easily. Now, even pulling out a book and staying in it to read would be very difficult, as my mind is filled with trauma and self-blame. Scores in exams keep dragging, and I can't set my mind to discipline in what course I am taking right now. I am being less passionate about it. It feels like a part of me has vanished and has lost its purpose, color, and light. I don't know what happened to me. This is completely the version of me that I am scared of becoming. I don't know how to overcome this.

...See more When I keep on opening up this suppressed childhood trauma, why do I feel like I am setting up myself to hinder my own healing by activating triggers and reexperiencing it?

...See more It is really hard to sit beside the man you once loved (even in a situationship setup that was close to becoming an official relationship) who micro-cheated, whom you forgave multiple times, and who still looks at women who are physically desirable and attractive. It is hard in the sense that I am still the one who needs to adjust, while he just sits there living as if nothing happened—as if the betrayal never occurred. And now, he is showing signs of being concerned about me after almost a year of being blocked on all social media platforms. I have already experienced a lot of trauma and abuse, and then this guy added to it after I poured all my trust into him. I am delighted that I chose myself this time and cut him off even if his family were up against me.

...See more How can I get back to my old self who was once competent, persistent, and valued high standards? Upon enduring CPTSD (which I just newly discovered through self-diagnosis and researching, as my trauma responses and symptoms match it), I have suffered an intense loss of drive in my studies, low self-esteem, and difficulty strengthening my boundaries, self-worth, and non-negotiables. I am at the early stages of adulthood, and I cannot talk about this with my parents because they do not have any knowledge about it and would only add to my trauma. How do I reframe my brain wiring? My self-perception? How do I forgive myself? Is forgiving the perpetrator necessary when he is a part of your family?

...See more After years of enduring both internally and externally induced trauma as a child, the flashbacks, dissociation, mental blocks, lack of concentration, self-condemnation, and a sense of worthlessness now attack me whenever a trigger brings back the memories. I engaged in trauma reenactment (the sexual abuse by my father and the environment that enabled it made me a child who also did it to a little girl when I was eight). Now, it kills me to the core as I ask myself why I did it. Nonetheless, through this platform, my sorrow and unspoken pleas have been unraveled, and it has given me hope that I am not the only one going through this. I want to heal and overcome all of those memories. I have surrendered it all to the Lord and repented for all of the sins I committed as a child. Flashbacks upon flashbacks, self-shrinking, and self-mistrust. But I know God knows my heart. I want to heal.
