...See more I have been feeling extremely lonely since the past few months. I hate to admit this but there's actually no one left in my life whom i can call up and rant even just for a few minutes. I have had such horrible experiences whenever i have tried to share in the past and it scares me to do that again because in those times it had triggered my anxiety and it took me a long time to recover from it. A lot of my friends are very comfortable to rant to me and share to me because i have tried my best to make it a comfortable space for anyone that's around me and be respectful of their feelings at the same time. I don't do this as an expectation to be rewarded, i just do it because it seems like the right thing to do. I have become used to being the listener in a conversation always and honestly considering the situation im honestly ok with being the listener for my friends or family. The thing that bothers me so much is that i really wish i could have someone be a listener for me as well. And not just a listener but understand at the same time, be considerate and be respectful at the same time. I don't want anyone to say "I'm here for you" and when the time comes for me to open up its like I'm standing in front of a completely different person. So many times i have been told that I'm victimizing myself or they have become angry with me or tried to talk over me or laughed at me or distanced themselves from me when the saw me anxious and depressed. I have also been called weak and incapable when i started taking anti anxiety pills. I usually used to call my mom when i felt anxious but since the past few years she has been really sick and already in a lot of stress that i feel guilty to add more to it. A friend of mine always asks how are you always so calm and listen to everyone's rants, i just smile and shrug. But only on the inside i know how much i want to be able to do the same. (Sorry for such long post lol. But if you have read it till here thank you so much<3)

...See more Been going through a lot since the past few months. I had to restart taking my anxiety medications, went through a messy breakup after being with him for 2 years, had an argument with a very close and only friend in college, i have the most important exam of my life in 5 months and at the same time I'm doing 8 to 9hrs shifts in my work, so hardly getting any time to study or rest, seniors at my work have been rude and egoistic as always, and a guy that i liked told me that he is not ready to move forward and wants to stay just friends which broke my heart when i heard it. I hardly have any friends here in my college, there are days especially on holidays where the whole day goes by me not even speaking one word to anyone and as soon as i realise it loneliness creeps upon me and i have low mood thereafter. Everything has gotten so overwhelming and i feel blank. I'm taking all the help i know i require yet there are certain days when i just feel like nothing is ever going to get better and I feel the lowest i have ever been.

...See more After quite a long time I tried meditation today. I followed one of those guided meditation on YouTube. Unfortunately, I ended up crying the whole time. I have been feeling so anxious the last few weeks and have been very lonely as well. I don't know how much this will help or how quick or slow it will work, but I guess I have started somewhere. I hope I am able to keep this on. Also I stay in a hostel with two other people so I get no privacy to sit and do this alone everytime, but still I hope I am able to do it frequently.

...See more I am not a bad person. I have never wanted anything wrong to happen for someone. I always talk nicely to people no matter how frustrated or low I am feeling that day. But there's really no value to kindness. I am always considered a liar or someone who has a lot of attitude. When I try to defend myself, they think I am talking back. This whole thing might sound like a stretch to a lot of you. But I am just sick of hearing that If I try to share my feelings then I am victimizing myself or blackmailing ppl. Where do I draw the line with all this? How many times do I have to hear this before a day comes where I break so much that I cannot pick myself back up? I try not to defend myself anymore, but my self respect doesn't let me sit quiet. But there's no point anymore.... I am not a bad person I can bet on that. I'm just too tired. I have no energy left to keep explaining to everyone. I am so sad since the past few days that everyone can notice and ask me if I'm ok. Where do I go? What do I do? How can I stop letting this affect me more? Or should I give up?

Here it feels like my feelings are validated in a way they're not irl and people relate to me and vice versa. Also thanks to everyone who share here. I get to read so many different stories and it gives me so much perspective about everything as well as i get to learn so much about people. Thankyou once again. Hope you all have a great day❤️

...See more I hate how while taking my stand, or in an argument or trying to confront others starts making my voice so shaky and eyes watery. I feel like it gives the impression to others that I am weak. I want to sound confident and professional but i think I come off as a crybaby Anyone else feel like this? And what do they do in those moments?

...See more Somehow over the past few years I have accepted that no matter how lonely and upset and low I feel, the only person that will understand me is me and nobody else. Hence, why I don't open up to people close to me anymore because I don't feel like being a burden to them.
