Things To Focus On When You Feel Out of Control
Heyyyaaa You Gorgeous People💗
I hope you all are keeping well! So here you go with your first question!
What kind of a day is it for you — survival, soft, or slay
So can we get an answer for this?😉 Come on guys! We are here to grow 🪴 together! If you won't take a step forward, things will remain stagnated!
There are frequent times around 20s and 30s when we feel disconnected with ourselves or out of control!
But the moment we learn to acknowledge and become aware of our emotions!
Accept them without judgement but with self compassion!
And Articulate the plan of action to improve and transform, that's when you start living life!
Rocking it on all along the way! And in alignment with your higher self!
What I stated above are the 3A's of Navigating Emotions!
And here's something for you!

Out of these, what's on your mind that you wish to talk about?
I'm waiting ✨
Regards,

Such a well made post, thank you so much! Finding even a semblance of control back when life takes it own course in 20s (I cant speak about 30s yet hahaha) can be so difficult. I love how you put it in the As.
I think for me asking for help is and always have been a problem as I am too self reliant for my own good. What about you? 🩵
@River
Heyy there! I hope you are keeping up well😊🤍thankyou for taking a step forward to making an initiative! I'm so proud of you for that!
I can completely understand you when you say finding semblance is difficult. There are cycles of joy and mess going on!
I also realise that asking for help becomes hard for people during this age. Out of certain experiences, we start retreating back!
It can be because we start believing that our expectations will not be met in the same way as we want, by the people we have. All of our peers who we can share things with are also navigating their own journeys, finding time with them becomes a problem at times.
Added, this can also happen when we we start turning our low moods into feelings of fear, isolation, inadequacy or unworthiness!
All we need to realise is seeking help makes us independent not co-dependent! What do you think about this? 🤍
You know, it's said, If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
@resilience2025 I believe what you've said here in this post has been very insightful! 😊 Thank you so much for posting this! I'm somewhere in my early 20s (that much I'll say without getting too personal), but I've already recognized that I've taken those steps to self-compassion and grace when I go through my hurdles. Most of my days, I've spotted that I tend to have a survival mindset (and a good example is when I'm expecting to hear from someone, or when I talk with friends or others, and what topics makes a priority within there, I tend to frame my mindset closely similar to it.) I find myself reading into some of the latest events, sometimes updates from others, and I keep it in mind for when I find it an opportune time to bring it up.
My biggest struggle as a former teen (now adult) was that I wasn't social, and I'd barely take the chance to socialize with others, making that part of how it stunted me. I already have been taking the steps by trying to push myself to talk more, as it'll help me develop the skills I already have, and much more!
It's honestly a big relief that I've studied a ton of psychology (and took AP Psychology when possible) to aid me much further! I've grown so much from here on out, that I'm able to help others as a result. Now, with all that being said... one thing I'd like to talk about, is making sure alongside me meeting the needs of those close to me, is how I can have my needs met as well, that has been my toughest question so far lately. 🤗

Heyyyy there! I'm so glad for this openness and voluntary initiative of yours to come forward, share yourself and investing your time! 💟
I'm so proud of you for being self compassionate with yourself! It takes a lot of courage to do that!
Dealing with a survival mindset is a pretty normal thing we all have during our 20s and 30s! I can completely understand how much unmanageable it can be at times. But what matters is you are aware and that is rare! 😉
As far as socialization is concerned, I must say you are doing an amazing job at honing your social and interpersonal communication skills! I'm really really happy reading this!✨🌻And I know you will be a great communicator soon! Keep growing 🤍

Can you please help me understand the last part clearly, something about which you wish to talk to! Actually, I'm unable to decode the last part after your mention of the interest in psychology! 😊
@resilience2025 Oh, it took me a moment, sorry! The best way I can properly explain that part is, I realized in relationships, most of which I struggled with for a good majority of my life is that, when others discuss having their needs met by the other (Friend/Partner), like emotional support, communication, respect, or having specific needs related to my health and such, like as I would try to meet the needs of others like say, respecting their boundaries, or if they need more communication or if they'd like quality time, I could make time with them for that and such. My point was that I struggled having mine be met, while I didn't struggle with meeting the needs of others in that aspect. Thank you for asking for clarification! If there's any further confusion, you're more than allowed to ask! 😊
