This week's check-in will be about TIME
In the USA the clocks went forwards one hour to summertime, daylight saving time.
I always remember which way the time changes by saying:-
"Spring Forward!"
Like a coiled spring boing!
"Fall back!"
As in falling leaves so Autumn
As we all get a little older each year how do you remember things?

@MistyMagic These are some good questions. I also like to use rhymes and pictures to help remember things.
I do think that as we get older, memories can fade - but some do still seem like they happened yesterday!

Maybe I'm getting forgetful nowadays. Lost track of time this week, woke up this morning thinking it was Monday! I find my memory is on-and-off, sometimes I'm forgetful when I'm working. Especially when I get distracted, for example, I'd be on my way somewhere to grab a certain item, halfway, someone stops me to ask a question, I get to the area, then stand there with my mind blank, forgetting why I was there. But often, when I trace back my steps, or return to where I was originally, it will come back to mind.
As for memories in the past, I remember things as far back as when I was in preschool, but the few years before then, I have no memories of. Only memory for that time were the two different nannies we had.
The best memory I had would have to be when I was in Grade 10. I was in Scouting back then, and we went on a 3 days 2 nights hiking trip. It was the first time we called it overnight hiking. There were 2 Environmental Canada people acting as guides, leading us (around 12 people including 2 leaders) through the forest. The total distance we hiked was 20km. I surprised the leaders and my family, that I stayed at the front of the group. There was one guide at the front, and one at the back. I remember that there were times where it was just the guide, myself, and a couple of others. We were in full-gear as we hiked. Climbing over fallen tree trunks, dodging underneath trunks, climbing over rocks, etc. As there weren't too many of us at the front, the guide taught us a lot about plants we came across, fungus that were seen, wild flowers, even birds. This was one experience that proved to others, that when I put my mind to something, unexpected outcome will occur. This memory has also given myself confidence, knowing that I succeeded in something that no one thought I could do back then, and how I came out at the top. It showed myself that I can do something challenging as long as I want to.
