What causes sleep apnea

Sleep apnea is a common but potentially serious sleep disorder that affects an estimated 30 million people in the United States

People who have sleep apnea experience interruptions in breathing that can last 10 seconds or more and occur repeatedly throughout the night, as many as 30 times or more in the span of an hour. This disturbs healthy sleep and also reduces blood oxygen levels during sleep, both of which can contribute to significant health problems

@pamharley003

I did way more than 30 times per hour. . . It cause me to lose so much oxygen when I slept that my lips turned blue. It can be deadly. I cannot sleep without my cpap machine.

If you have trouble sleeping then you should defiantly get tested.
