Hi Car! 😊❤️ Thank you for your forum post! I loved reading that quote today and it's one that I have held near and dear to my heart and for quite a long time! 😊 I find that quote to be powerful and helpful for any of us that may come to a crossroads in our lives and have to reconsider a relationship that we are in, no matter what type of "ship" that might be.

I am really grateful for you sharing your wisdom with us! In an effort to be helpful, I'd like to share a couple of quotes that seem to go "hand in hand" with your original one. These are also quotes that I hold near and dear to my heart and truly give me things to consider when feeling as if I have to make a choice.

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time". Mya Angelou

"Don't throw your pearls to swine". (Can't recall who coined that one-quick Google search would take care of that, lol)

And for one of what are called Gizzie-isms around here (simply my thoughts and my words), "Good things in = good things out". SparkyGizmo

What my Gizzie-ism means to me is that I need to be careful about what and who I surround myself with. I want to be mindful of what I hear, what I see, who I spend my time with. What do I want to wash across my retina's and ergo to be layered on my mind? These things do effect us and if is negatively effecting us, sometimes it can be best to step away from whatever that might be.
