Hi! I'm 38 this year. My life is really not where I thought it would be at this point and I'm really struggling.
Hoping to make some friends cause I have no body in real life.
@Knittercatt u feel a little confused right now, because social standards make such a big fuss about aging, i hope you understand that numbers dont mean anything , other than the fact that you are more experienced and smarter than at any other point in time. I remember thinking at 25 that im old,and now 32 and i laugh at myself back then.
i dont know if we sould put pressure on urselves about not liking where we are today, because life is going to happen , no matter how much we schedule things, the unpredictable is around the corner. not just the big scary things, but the wonderful things too
@Knittercatt i feel like that most of the times. But sometimes we just need to look at the bright side of everything, that helps a lot
Hello! I just turned 37. Some day I can't believe I'm 37 and will be 40 in 3 years.
@CreativelyAlone I think time goes by so fast!
Hello! 33 here. I'm not really happy with the situation I find myself in. And I'm nowhere near the situation I wanted to be in when I was in my 20's. I made a bunch of wrong decisions in my work life. Now I'm shifting careers. Hopefully I find an good opportunity soon.
@creativeShiny50 i know its hard to believe but 33 is young enough to shift youre career to where you want it to be. even if you decide on a different field, you still now have some life experience and social skills.Good luck!
Hi all I turned 31 in may this year and time goes so quickly. Feel free to message me if you want a friendly chat or to vent

Hello everyone! I'm 38 and I just feel myself a total looser who spent her years for nothing, as I don't have anything in my life: no husband or kids, no my own house, and recently not even a job or professional position. I did and achieved a lot in my life, I'm proud of my achievements, that's true. I helped hundreds of ppl, I wasn't useless, but now I am left with nothing but myself. It makes me feel very miserable, and I'm so scared.
@PennyUA - I understand this very well. I'm 39 and can say the same about no husband or kids or job etc. Something that helped me find direction and meaning again was finding out what my values are and living according to my values. You can read more about values in the context of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I'd like to hear what you think about it if you feel like giving it a try.
@PennyUA have you tried travelling?
Hello! I just turned 32 - where have the years gone?! Trying to cope as a single mom of a toddler and a full-time engineering student who is going through a particularly nasty, contested divorce. I'm feeling pretty afraid that it will only ever just be the little one and I from now on. So coupled with having few opportunities to connect with other adults and the resulting feelings of isolation, is this question of how exactly I'm going to manage to raise a lo on my own
Hi everyone I'm 31 and in the UK be nice to make new listener friends so we can support people together
