Hello everyone, I'm 33 and I often don't feel like I fit into 30+ groups of any sort due to my interests/position in life so if I could find people here to talk to that would be awesome.
No friends, no kids, married but miserable and living in a foreign country an ocean away from family. I'm unemployed and disabled due to my depression, social anxiety, panic disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
I play video games to keep myself sane, always have and always will. That's my main hobby right now.
@LunarRhythms
hi-5 there, my peer! im also 33, though im turning 34 in 30 days soon! let's catch up on life if ye feel like talking =]

Welcome to 7cups and the Sub-Community! Sorry to hear that you are sick. Not sure if you are in the US but you can file for disability and you can also maybe get unemployment insurance. If another country they might have the same thing. You found a great group and the room has individuals in there a lot going through the things that you are also so they might have some ideas. Hi, I turned 30 this year. No husband, no kids, no life. My life is just a big joke. I hate myself, and I don't let people close to me. I feel everyday is a huge disappointment and can't wait for the day it all ends.

Welcome to 7cups and the Sub-Community.
Hey all.
37 years old here. Spent the last year and a half in and out of the hospital. Still have my ups and downs but I seem to be getting better at catching the negative thoughts and behaviours before they escalate. It
@DustJacket
Welcome to 7cups and the Sub-Community. You can find a lot of good information for new folks here.
Greetings to all!
I turned 32 back in January. I'm currently working as a Casual in a local hospital for the past 10 months. This is my big career change, finally a job where I can refer to as my career rather than a job. I don't have any friends either. There's no one I can talk to or hang out with during the weekends. I live with my parents, I have an older brother, who married 3 years ago (but is currently having some problems in his marriage), and I'm still single. I worry about my future when it comes to if I'll ever meet someone and to be married or not. For the past 5 years, for every birthday, I will feel more and more lonely and depressed that I'm still single, as I see people I've gone to school with getting married and having kids. I can go on forever, but it'll just become like a rant~
@Jaeteuk
Hi and welcome to the Sub-Community. What is a Casual do at the hospital? I haven't heard that term before. Not sure if Meetup.com is in your area but maybe you can find someone doing something fun on that webpage? Have you looked at different things in your area like bowling team or other teams that you might meet new folks? If you would like to be added to the tag list please submit this short form.
Thank you for having me here. A casual is just like an on-call position. Not full-time or part-time status. I was thinking of trying some online dating, but I was recommended by my cousin to have someone take some nice pictures of me for the profile first. My photographer friend haven't had the time to take any pictures of me yet. So, I'm kind of stuck right now~
@DanaMH
Hi all! I'm in the UK, 39, mum of 2 adopted girls, divorced and remarried to my current husband and now have a step daughter too. I'm a nurse and also live near my parents and siblings who are all married with kids.
Life is difficult at times, I feel like everyone needs a piece of me and I'm stretched all ways.... but no one is there for me. I have tried to reach out but it's all take, they don't give.
I'm feeling lonely despite people coming and going. I love my husband dearly, he just doesn't know how to listen and support, he feels he doesn't know what he can do.
Anyway, I'm sorry for all of that. I'm not a miserable person at all, quite out going with a wicked sense of humour, that's how I hide my true feelings but I do have fun and enjoy life.. but also deep down I'm hurting, scared and worry about everything.
Peace and love to you all X
@NurseB
Hi, Welcome to 7cups and the Sub-Community. Being stretched in all directions is very hard and not having no one there for you and for others to always take and not give is not fun at all which I can totally relate to. Relationships should be two sided and sometimes individuals might not realize that and communication is key to any relationship. Sorry to hear that you are lonely and not sure if you found the coping skills list we also created a page for new folks to the Sub-Community with some helpful links to help out. You can also find the discussion list here. Not sure if you have tried to maybe make a list of things that are working and things that need help with and maybe you both can do that and then talk about things to maybe help? A good book a lot of us have also read is the 5 love languages that maybe you both can read and then discuss it together. Feel free to respond to any of the forums and the room is always open to chat with others when we don't have discussions scheduled in there. There are a lot of supportive people in the Sub-Community that you soon will meet and some people are like a family that are there for each other and really do care. If you are interested in being added to the tag list please submit this short form. It is good to hear that you do have fun and enjoy life and sorry that you are hurting, scared and worry.

Hello everyone. I'm 32 and I have had depression for 4+ years now and have some anxiety issues too.. But I am glad to have found and used this app, it has helped me tremendously!
@plumBeechwood7549
Sorry to hear that you have depression and anxiety. We are glad that you have found 7cups and the Sub-community. There are a lot of folks with the same things and we are all here for you.
Hello, im New.
A little hesitant as talking about my life and seeking assistance is well outside my comfort zone. I've sort of been left in a pretty dark place by my significant other and am really trying to work through it for my two sons. If not for them I'd continue to suffer in silence. lolz
@Clayton76
Glad you found 7cups and the Sub-Community. Sorry to hear you are going through all of that. There are several folks in the room going through the same things as you so please don't feel like you are alone in this and we are all here to support you.
@Clayton76
my wife had an affair and I am in the darkest, saddest, loneliest place I
@Spencerxryan
I read your post. I thought about what your likely feeling, I just have nothing to offer, because I appearantly have done everything wrong. I remember sitting across from my wife once saying "why couldn't you have just cheated on me." I don't think it would have made things any worse.
Loosing the person you trust. It's earth shattering. That person is gone just as sure as if they had died. I'm not sure you ever get that back either.
I'm rooting for you buddy. One thing I would suggest, is dont pretend it didn't happen. Confront it. No consequences mean nothing learned.
@Clayton76
Thank you brother. Do you want to talk about what you went / are going through ?
@Spencerxryan
I may. I put a lengthy post up in discussions "here it goes", describing what happened over the last 2 1/2 yrs.
@Spencerxryan this is what happened to me also Spencer! My daughter was sick and in Childrens hospital on a ventilator while my husband was cheating with a coworker! I have 2 other children also! I really have no family besides my kids so just me and the kids rocking the single mom life! I have some hard days but I find that with God all things are possible!
@Clayton76 I'm in the same boat but have no kids. Each day is hard to get thru
@Clayton76
Good for you in regards to taking care of your sons and yourself. Both are equally important. Good luck to you.
