Rediscovering self love

Self love is not practice or that w are taught that growing up. We are born with the ability to love ourselves. We4 arefaced in our lives with: lack of love, self respect and self worth. When we hear the wrod no or are told your wrong or this is how it is suppose to be done we begin to question our ability to think .

When we are young we are told to put the opinion of others before ours, then as a teenager we begin to see how we are and are to truly see ourselves as we want to be then as we get older when stripped of our self love we try to take it back and be who we truly are ourselves.

It may take our whole lives for self love but people should be able to be who they are without bullying them into what others want them to be. People should take care of themselves rather worry about what others may feel or say to them. Self love is different in everyone.

What does self love mean to you?

• Prioritizing yourself
• be true to yourself
• be nice to yourself
• take breaks from work and stress to do somethng nice for ourself
• Examples of practicing self love:
• be mindful- know what you want how your wanting to feel
• practice good self care- eat healthier, sleep well and healthy soical interactions with others.
