Looking for friends

Hello everyone, I am very motivated to make friends as I have none.  A little about me: I am 38 and a man, and I am in touch with my feminine and childish sides.  Making things and helping others are central in my life.  Living for values such as truth, love, beauty, charity, etc., I feel out of place in this self-centered, materialistic world.  I am an excellent friend because I am an excellent listener.  I see people and I take time to sincerely learn about people, delving deeper into the things they share.  This is something I have never really received in return.  I fear I am one of those souls who ends up giving all of the time.  Chances are you reading this can relate to that, and I'd like to hear from you if so.  I will not cut you off, I will not make your things about me, I will not put you into any boxes.  

I write and record original music, paint and sell Hot Wheel theme cars, build dioramas, crochet, learn new things, do NYT crosswords, birdwatch, needlepoint, cook (mostly vegetarian), bake, write fiction, etc etc!  I love philosophy, psychology, cookies, and animals.  Sometimes I get down on the floor in the living room and play with toys.  I'm not embarrassed by things like that.  I am embarrassed by my moral failures.  I am disabled and have a simple, stable life, and a lot of time to invest in new friends.

I long to share my life with someone in a special way and I believe that person exists somewhere.  I have a lot to give and look forward to talking with new people.  Thank you for taking the time to read this, I am so isolated and this is a rather bold move on my part; I usually prefer to remain hidden.
