Red flag??
Is a parent leaving their 3 children ages 22, 19, and 17 behind and deciding to move to another country by themselves a red flag??
Even though grown, I'd imagine they'd want to be in the same country as their children...
but maybe they haven't been really involved in their lives to begin with.

it is an individual choice and hard to say without more background.
the ages are still young but some people want to start over or make their own new life after the kids are grown. think of anyone who stayed around for kids if heart was not always in it.... when kids are grown up they may want to do things they did not get a chance before the kids ....
Hugeeeeeee red flag!!!! Especially leaving your 17 year old at the very least. Most loving, caring and nurturing parents want to be very close and present for their children. Leaving a 17 yr old seems a bit detached. I am a teacher and I see different parenting styles and the affects of a parents choices and one thing is for sure, lack of a parental presence affects a child’s behavior. How loyal and committed will they be in a relationship if they aren’t physically present for their children?
