What would you do?
If someone offered you a pill and said "You will lose you memory of bad things that happened to you, you will forget about relationships and people that hurt you, and you will get to start a new life somewhere else without those memories" would you take that pill?
@zeetee17
I know that I would have said yes for most of my life. Not anymore. I need to be at full strength, I wouldn't want anything else to make me feel that vulnerable again.
But... If they've got the pharmacy keys for something like that, I... Might like to forget about the ways I've hurt others instead. I guess I can apparently take it when it happens to me, but I never intended to be part of the problem for anyone.
@zeetee17
I don't think I would take the pill because I personally believe that the past is makes us who we are right now and going forward. It makes us stronger and more wiser in my opinion, so no I wouldn't take it.
@zeetee17
i would in a heartbeat.
Where is the pill????! 👀👀👀
@zeetee17- noted this is an April fools post. I often wish could go back and redo parts of my life. But it is based on past experiences. Really need to take them into account to guide me where my situation is at the current time.
@barncat
X.xi want to be in parallel universe
@zeetee17 that's an easy yes
Yes, I believe I would
@zeetee17
It seems counterintuitive to say no, but my life of addiction and death and heartbreak has led me to my Salvation thru Jesus. I'd love to have forgotten my mother's quick painful death from cancer, but thru that trial she found Jesus. 26 years later, those memories hurt but without them I would have no hope to look forward to.
@DudeRidiculous
People just keep smoking. Lol
no, because the things i’ve gone through have shaped me into the person i have become. it’s ultimately made me so much stronger and caused me to raise my standards for the people around me
@zeetee17 if it changes my personality then yes :3
