Going back to school when I was 27, getting my degree and having a job since I was 16. I never depended on anyone to take care of me. I worked full time when I was in school. I couldnt do it today,. But my career has been worth the effort.

That is so great that you went back to school and have a good career and worth the effort. It is amazing how hard it is now a days to find good jobs or even a job for a lot of folks.
So many things I could list, but few of them are accomplishments. Leaving my home city and moving out to a semi-rural environment was huge in my life, but it doesn't feel like an accomplishment. I still haven't finished the work of raising my daughter. I think I will leave it at building a celtic harp, with a full set of sharping levers. That took all my woodworking skills.

Moving away is huge for anyone. I know my move to another state was major. Just raising your daughter so far is a great one. I think even when they leave the house, they still learn from us, I know mine is and he is 29. That sounds really cool to make a harp. Could we see a picture of it?
Mine is very similar to @Lauren63. I dropped out of college at 18, got married and worked low paying jobs until I realized (at 31) that I could do better. That was before on-line classes were available, so it was slot of evening classes. I worked full-time the whole time. Degree earned, career path set! It was hard, but I am grateful that I was able to do it.

That is great that you were able to complete your degree. I agree individuals have it so much easier with computers and all the technology that we all have.
Right now is getting my life back on track. Slowly putting myself back together after all these years!

Mine are that I am proud to say I have for a year now been doing self care breaks often each day. I have focused on being nicer to myself.

That is so awesome to hear that you have being doing self-care breaks often each day and focusing on being nicer to yourself since that is very important in our life. It also makes us happier.
I have cared for my children and did not ever abandon them.

That is so awesome since sometimes kids can be very challenging at times.
The level I have gotten to in caring for myself. It might be something many take for granted, but considering the health issues I have I know quite a few people who are depedent on private nurses most of the time for similar things.

That is great that you can care that much for yourself. I agree that a lot of folks don't understand all the health issues and concerns for others and what we all go through.
