Hello everyone, Spring has started in the Northern Hemisphere! 😊
I always loved this time because as a child it was the sign for me that I could play outside more and longer again, watch the animals and wear socks with shorts instead of long trousers. I loved it and still today remembering me sitting on the grass listening to the birds makes me feel good.

Cherry Plum flowers are the first blossom we get here in the UK, and remind us that spring is on the way. Mostly it's white, but occasionally you get a pink tree. If you can remember where you took the photo, there will be fruit to pick later.

1. What is your best memory of springtime? The memory for spring that stands out most to me is when I was a child, wearing a new Easter dress, and going to the flower show at the botanical gardens.

Wow, a new Easter dress and flower show at the botanical gardens! I can only image how exiting it was for you 😊. Can you still remember some of the plants you liked most?
I think the fondest memory that I have of spring is The smell of lilacs. When I walk outside and the lilacs are in full bloom on a sunny day it doesn’t matter if I am in a sad mood or happy mood it just makes my day no matter what it just is such a calming sweet scent. It brings back memories of being a child my mom picking lilacs and bringing them in the house and setting them on the kitchen table or going out my back door and breathing in that sent while potting plant in soil For the new flowers spring flowers that I just bought. It’s going out on my deck and having a beer with my husband and barbecuing steaks on the grill. It’s going out to mow the lawn for the first time and bringing in that fresh smell of the lilacs mixed with the cutting of the grass . It’s riding in the car with the windows rolled down as you pass a giant bush of lilacs. It’s just a beautiful scent with beautiful memories always.

What do you like most about spring? The new life bursting forth.
@soulsings, I used to live in a rubber plantation. I can understand what you mean by a new life bursting forth. It reminded me of how amazing it was to watch how, every year , these trees shed their leaves during the windy season and grow new bright green leaves . The whole process takes about 1 month and for me , this process was a lovely sight, To see the old leaves dropping away , floating gently like snow flakes and the small sprouts growing into bright green leaves , overhanging like green canopies.

Going outside without a jacket and the feel of the sun getting warmer.
🌷 What do you like most about spring?
It's generally grey and rainy here, with some lovely sunshine here and there. I love seeing crocuses growing, and seeing the trees getting green fuzzy looking as leaves start to open.

@amiablePeace77 , I live in a tropical country so it is rain and shine through out the year but we do have flowering season as some flowers bloom in selected months. The sight of colourful flowers and the vivid greenness of the grass and leaves is a balm , a welcome balm indeed for our busy mind.

My birthday is in the spring. I have no one best memory, but had some okay birthdays.

I like the warmer weather. I can start bike riding again.
