Practicing gratitude regularly can help you in many different ways. Grateful people enjoy higher wellbeing and happiness, sleep better and bounce back faster from negative experiences.
Today, I would like to invite you to create a gratitude jar. This can be any container of your choice, maybe a glass jar nicely decorated with ribbon or lace, painted or just as it is.
Think of at least three things throughout your day that you are grateful for and write them down on a small piece of paper and put it into the jar.
Repeat this every single day.
At the end of the year take some time and empty the jar and read all your notes.

I started a gratitude jar over 3 years ago. Since then I have been regularly maintaining it. Love to empty it at the end of the year and feel so happy and uplifted.
I strongly recommend it to all.

have a friend who has been doing this with a prayer jar for a really long time. It is wonderful in so many ways

Nice way to remind yourself to pray particularly when done within the family. There are so many ideas for creating special jars, like blessing jar or thank you note jar just to mention a few examples.
