I can shop at home and go to the front door and get it without leaving home.
Convenience is what I am grateful to have.

@amiablePeace77. I am grateful for being able to interact on the internet also. I can’t get out and about as much as I would like so it helps a lot to be able to interact online!

The internet, for all its problems, has certainly helped me feel less isolated. While I do work, I don’t talk to many people. As sad as it sounds, 99% of my social interaction is online.

Good that internet exists and we can stay in contact with other people and also make new friends. Most of my social interaction happens online too.

As I’m still working from home it helps me feel less isolated. Also I find the learning aspect so much easier sitting at home than having to go out to pursue. I’ve also made new friends along the way which helps with maintaining a good mental health.

Working from home does have great benefits for sure! Mental health issues can make us feel very lonely so nice hat you also found friends to connect with!
Allowed me to keep in touch with family even older then me and now all over the world. Made new friends and kept old friends lost some to but that happens. I find it fascinating when I think of my youth..had the First Apple Home Computer but took years and I'm still not sure I know most. But I know a lot..worked and learned as technology changed. Some stuff still amazes me.

I think it's really important to keep up with learning about technology. Computers (for example) can offer so much to us but yeah, it definitively takes time and lots of efforts to fully understand everything. I am still learning too.

Being able to connect with people and also see them online is a blessing in my view!
Over the years, thanks to the internet and training I received in website design, I was able to get three different jobs because of it, found and joined meetups and met plenty of new friends in person because of that, and have found friends all over the world first through MySpace, and then ***. My grandson built me a couple of YouTube channels as well as his own and one for the dog and one for the cat, lol. So now we do a lot of videos for that. So jobs, friends, family, and quality time with my grandson.

He is 10 and he is hoping to be a YouTube influencer. He is well on his way. It's fun watching him learning the things he needs to know to continue. His followers are growing, his friends are all wearing his merch and participating in videos and actual influencers are promoting him on their pages occasionally. I like that he's excited about building something, and that he chose to do this and continues to choose to stick with it.

Yeah. He didn't get that from me! We do have to watch him closely though as sometimes he gets ahead of himself. He wants to give money away like Mr beast and does but it has cost his mom some because he has promised it before asking a couple times. He thankfully follows the rules that are set for him but we have to learn what rules to set. Lol. He opened a Shopify store for his merchandise a couple days ago without asking first. Now has Mom has to figure out what he has promised there. A new rule is no making any new accounts without permission first. Lol. Hard to keep up with these younguns! Do you have little ones around? They wear me out but give me energy at the same time. The dog is the same way. The cats however, calm me.

What brings you joy?

Something that brought me real joy was playing with my dogs (they died of old age many years ago), playing badminton with my friends (just for fun), riding my bike, running, ice skating, squash - so so many things. Today, sitting in my garden and watching the lizzards, birds and monkeys 😃

No monkeys here unless you want to count the children. Although one of my cats does act like one. I also like to sit outside and watch the birds. No lizards here but plenty of frogs. Used to have a pet lizard though. I'm glad to hear you have things that bring you joy and know what they are. I am still always amazed at how much humans have in common at a basic level that we don't realize until we start talking to one another. Too many times we think we are so different because of the way we look, or dress, or act in public. But deep down we seem to share the same types of emotions and desires. I hope you're having a lovely evening. Or daytime? Either way.
