Often our weeks are about doing what is necessary, the usual routines and tbh sometimes I can get boring to me so I like to do something nice something new to keep life interesting.

Hi, Peace, I'm looking forward to getting my car back from the garage. It had major problems. I had to fight with them to repair it. In the end, they saw what I was trying to describe, and they are paying for everything.
Then I hope to just have a peaceful week.

Nice that you could get it sorted out and they take responsibility by paying for it. Being without transport can make it difficult to get around.

I do not really celebrate holidays much. My life is pretty much work and the chores for around the house. I know my week after this holiday will be a really busy one.

Sorry to hear that you're not sleeping well these days. It's hard to find sleep when the mind is still engaged with things that happened during the day or in the past in general. Something I find very helpful is trying to detach from all these thoughts by meditation. This is a link for a Meditation to Calm an Overactive Mind | Reduce Anxiety and Worry. I hope it helps.
@amiablePeace77 - I will give it a try. The past is like a chain and when events do not have closure, they add a link to that chain. After so many years, the chain is so long, the mind does its best to try to confine it to a small space.

Not much, given some of the reasons why I came here to begin with.
Gonna sort through my personal library this weekend & decide what I want to sell, which I will do during the 1st half of the week. I will need the money later.
One thing I want to do is get my bicycle tuned up, plus finish a project related to it that I started a good while back...as in before SARS-CoV-2 hit. It's easy to get distracted when you start a bunch of different things.
Wish I could go out for an evening...maybe I will. If not next week then the week after. One last hurrah before I tighten the belt.

Something I had to learn was that it is better and more productive to focus on one thing, finish it and then do the next one.

Looking forward to getting a project done that I'm working on. It's tedious, but sticking to it. I'm watching ... actually, binge watching old episodes of ER while working on it. When it was airing on TV it was one of my favs. Looking forward to seeing the old plot twists... I'm at where Hathaway had her twins and she's about to go back to Doug... for those who are fans...lol ☺️
