How is your sleep at the moment? Do you experience difficulty staying asleep or did you wake up too early?

Not really the best sleeping schedule I have. I don't really have any problem sleeping but since I have work, I tend to stay up at least until 3am and then having to walk up at 9am the next morning.

What usually helps you to fall asleep easier?

Silence and sometimes the right music.

@potatoxcrispztrish

Nice that silence and music help you. Is 3 am is matter of choice or do you need to work that late?

1. How is your sleep at the moment?

Its better than it was about a month ago.

2. Do you experience difficulty staying asleep or did you wake up too early?

I have been stying asleep mostly. I sometimes sleep lightly and that is still better to me than not sleeping at all. I do also sometimes wake up before I would like to, but I take my morning meds, and usually drift back off.

3. What usually helps you to fall asleep easier?

Forcing myself to stick to a schedule

Glad you're sleeping better now purpleTree4652. I believe implementing routines is a good way to train the body for certain things, like for example sleep times.

How is your sleep at the moment? Do you experience difficulty staying asleep or did you wake up too early? I slept pretty well last night, but that was the first time in a while. I wake up a lot during the night and often have a hard time getting back to sleep.

What usually helps you to fall asleep easier? I wish I knew. Getting older is definitely hard on me.

@Offmytrack

Sorry to hear that you wake up sometimes and can't get back to sleep, I find it's terrible to turn and twist around in the bed until somehow one falls asleep again. This is a link for a sleep well guide https://Sleep https://www.7cups.com/sleeping-well/,

With age it can take longer to fall asleep for some people, glad you had a good night rest last night.

How is your sleep at the moment? Do you experience difficulty staying asleep or did you wake up too early? I am more restless lately. I have a hard time focusing during the day; at night I often will wake up several times.

What usually helps you to fall asleep easier? I do a body scan to relax and that usually stills my mind. I also try 'games' like, mentally name every state in alphabetical order, or name all the vegatables in alphabetical order.

Glad that you found some ways to help yourself with sleep. Do you find yourself worrying a lot about things you have to do before bedtime?

I have a pretty nightly routine and normally don't have trouble falling asleep. But lately I've started waking up several times during the night worrying about politics in America, COVID, and racial relations. I'm limiting myself to watching the news only in the morning, I check social media once a day, and try to keep busy on my job, or at home in my garden.

I'm sure some of it is related to COVID restrictions, I go to work, and I go home. No gatherings with friends, no shopping, no movies.

I just feel so powerless.

What's going on in the world is bothering to most people, I hope peace will soon settle in and there will be a cure for the virus. I believe it's healthy to disconnect from too much media atm, it only makes things harder in my opinion so working in the garden sounds like a good way to keep your spirits up. Hugs

I don't sleep well, but I do listen to the calm app. They have bedtime stories for adults. That usually helps to get to sleep.

How is your sleep at the moment? Do you experience difficulty staying asleep or did you wake up too early?

Not great. Well, it's on and off. I fall asleep quickly, then wake up a few times in the middle of the night, then can't get back to sleep. That's the frustrating part.

What usually helps you to fall asleep easier?

I use a couple different mediation apps, or I put on TV on my phone with headphones. (I've always fallen asleep to noise, so it helps me drift off because it distracts my mind from thinking too much.)

I use video or reading to go to sleep at night. I go to bed at the same time everyday.

Usually wake up multiple times, but I have stapped stressing about it. It is normal to go through two or more sleep cycles at night. I either go back to sleep or get up and get some things done.

the cats always get me up on time for their breakfast and some days I follow them back to bed afterwards.

The biggest adjustment lately is moving to working 10 hours shifts instead of 8.
