🌻 What do you like most when spending time in discussions or open chats with your fellow 7cups buddies? Definitely the pop-up room from MIndfulness Community, 50+ Community, and some of the 35+ pop-up rooms. These rooms are great. As for the chat rooms, they do have their purposes, but, they are very unpredictible, not constantly monitored with lots going on, and can be very depressing and negative environments in general.
🌻 What have you found in the 7cups community you feel not having found elsewhere? The online support for the different groups (such as the older community and pop-up groups),the wonderfully led mindfullness community by @amiablePeace77, and so much overall variety of ways of support offerered on the whole site, where all members can find what support is best for themselves.

I haven't done any discussions or chats yet. I'd like to talk about my trauma, but it's very personal, obviously, and I'd have to know who I was sharing with before I could do that. It could also be triggering for others. These things on this website - it says talk witha counselor or something like that beneath a picture of someone - is that really the person I would be communicating with if I clicked on the button? They aren't given names.

Joining the discussions or open chats is just one of the options 7cups offers. I hope with time you will get used to the site and join, it can be very helpful to hear how others deal with similar problems. Some people though rather do 1:1 chats or forums, glad you came in today. If there is anything I can help you with please let me know, always happy to help

Having a pretty rough day. Wish there was some support here. I even go to the 35+ room that has been open and kids are in there saying things like, I wonder what it is like being 35. ....like you are going to get any reasonable help there or anywhere. It is a joke.

I'm sorry you had such a tough day, I really am . Wish we could have talked today for a while. It's hard when you need support and feel there is nothing for you at that moment. Did you join 24/7 support room to get support or browse for a listener?
Some of the younger people wonder indeed what's like being 35, what to expect when getting older, they see and read so much on the media which might be confusing to them.
