I’ve never been a big picture taker, but I do have some old photos that might qualify. They would mostly be of my last dog, family or schoolmates - mainly just memories of happier and healthier times.

I am a very passionate photographer and love flipping through the photos. Even the ones I post on Facebook are primarily for me especially my travel photos. They were so delightful during the Pandemic.

Love this question. :) I have quite a lot of photos I've taken - was a photojournalist for a bit, and I still love taking photos. Need to get back into it more - have lost some of the skills I had developed. Lots of cat photos, starting to get more puppy pics, love taking photos of my feet standing in different locations, and love taking beach photos (close ups of sand, or rocks).

@amiablePeace77 I didn't take many photos of myself when I was younger because I thought that I was ugly. Recently I came across the few pictures of my younger self that I have and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't ugly at all! Now it is actually quite nice to look at these pictures😊. I have a collection of pictures of all my cats and 1 dog that I had. I like to look at them also but it is also mixed with feelings of missing them.

Photos really can make you feel a big mixture of feelings, happiness, sadness, longing, dreaming, fulfillment, anger, gratefulness and thoughtfulness. What I have experienced over the years is that the same photo also can bring different feelings depending on when I look at it.

According to research flipping through pleasant personal photos can boost your mood more than eating a chunk of chocolate 😮. I don't know, I think chocolate is pretty good, most of my pictures are crummy.
