What did you learn in this year that would lead you into a better future?
Try not to take on more than I can handle. And if I do take care of myself till I feel better again.

It's been quite a year!
I learned more about what's really important to me. The quarantines have not only cut out fun's things, but also the extraneous things I was forcing myself to do.
I find I'm more accepting of my introversion now and feel that the alone-time I need, will be a greater priority for me even after a vaccine, and a after a return to normalcy.

This year was hard for most people but it also taught us things. It is nice that you end this year with some lessons you can use in the future and not only see the bad side of it.
I learned better exercises which will help keep me limber

Awesome! I find a limber body feels just better and staying limber is very important when aging too.

That's wonderful purpleTree! Since I am meditating regularly I feel much calmer and better in the whole. Would love to hear about your benefits in some time 
I learned to think about taking breaks and setting limits on work hours

It's good to take some time for yourself and do something which has nothing to do with work.

I have learned to accept my introversion and need for solitude as well as to make time for the people I love. Staying connected to loved ones is important.

@exuberantMaple397 I hear you. I still need 1 day a week to turn within. I used to need 7 so I am participating more in life and that feels good.
What did you learn in this year that would lead you into a better future?
I have learnt that it's possible to put traumatic things behind you if you are willing to face it. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness but strength. That I will bring with me in the future.

Sunrise, I fully agree to asking for help being a sign of strength and not weakness, I hope that next year will be a very good one for you with the support you get.
What did you learn in this year that would lead you into a better future?
I learned that my fiance' is more willing to marry me. I thought she was thinking in terms of years. Less than a year would be great!

Thankfully they already started to distribute the vaccine
It's been one heck of a year. One things that I learned is I'm exactly where I am ment to be! This year has taught me alot about myself and who I am and where I want to go!

I am learning to and will continue to learn to acknowledge the hurts that I've caused, work at recreating trust and giving grace to myself in the process (the hardest part)
@Sunshine4691 self compassion is a treasure that sometimes we have to search for long and hard inside ourselves
