Do you have a favorite plant or animal and what makes it your favorite? Can you describe it in detail? I don't think I have a favorite plant. I like so many of them, flowers, vegetable plants, trees. I guess my favorite animal is the koala. I've loved them since I was a child. Their fur looks so soft, and their faces are cute. Plus, I just love that they carry around their babies in a pouch.

@amiablePeace77 until a few years ago I had no idea just how much of a cat person I am.
Cats.
Among the plants, oak trees and redwoods, maybe.
@stressBear pine trees can smell really nice and pine needles make a good ground cover.
Favorite animal - Boston terrier. I've had 2 over the years, they are the best dog companions.
Favorite plant - Daisies. They remind me of summers when there wasn't a care in the world.

Favorite plant? Never thought about it. Christmas tree! :)
Favorite animal? I love all animals - dogs, cats, cows...okay, I'm not into the gators and things like that, though. :)
@thoughtfulmomma yes christmas trees add a nice ambience to a room.
I want to grow lavender and sunflowers because I think it brings joy, just as I like seeing cats but I can't bring them up.

Cats can be very tempermental.
It is hard to pickone favourite of each since so many are so dear to me but I guess they picked me instead: the dandellion is the flowwer of my birth month, the carier of wishes and dreams, a delightful food and toy for chikdren...the other is tge wolf who chose to save my life as a child and woofs have been my companions throughout two thirds of my life (I call dogs 'woofs'...)..
@WhiteButerflee my grandmother valued dandelions as she made many things with them.

They are pleasantly beautiful, a good play thing for children to make crowns, bracelets, necklaces, chains, play by blowing wishes...they are good in salads...
A German team has industrialised extracting rubber from the latex of the dandellion...
I have a favorite animal and it's the red panda. I know nothing about them. They look wonderful.

My favorite is the cat. They are so calming. The fact that they love to connect and be on the receiving end of love allows you also to be filled with the universal energy of love. They are such a gift to the world. I like brown tabbys. But I really love all cats. I grew up with them. My mom is a cat person with about 10 cats. They have personalities. They are elegant to watch. They calm me and entertain me. They're awesome creatures. Thank you, God, for cats.

I fully agree to what you mentioned. Although I am more a dog person I do love cats. Just amazing to watch them play or laying down and relax.
My favorite animal is a shih-tzu. They are a very loyal and loving dog. My favorite flower is a lily.
@friendly10 my family is big on those. Have real hair and so do not shed.
@soulsings Do you have any shih_tzu dogs?
@friendly10 I do not personally have any but my sister has 2 and she has had them for 40 years inviting new ones into her home when the older ones pass on. She also supports rescue sites that help place dogs.
