Most beautiful? Tough call.
I have never lived anywhere close to an ocean but used to have summer vacations on an island. I've been going to the same island again for the past few years. There's so much beauty there!
I did used to live near the Rockies, on a clear day I could actually see some mountain tops from my house off in the distance. Since moving, I hadn't been back for years until last year. I was happy to be going but I wasn't expecting to be so emotional as I approached the 3 Sisters I actually teared up. It was a sense of coming back 'home' to a place I typically went to at least once a year (often more!) up until I was about 25. A homesickness I was unaware I had as I do actually go back to my home city often.
Both beautiful, difficult to say which is moreso but the Rockies for the emotional connection.

Banff National Park, such beauty, all up and down the main highway and all the sight seeing spots.
Here is an overpass that is for the wild animals, wolf, bear and so many others. There are under passes as well. The highway is fenced on both sides, so there is never any road kill.
The lakes are pure blue because they lack pollution, the water is run off from various glaciers. Walking on a glacier is one memory I'll never forget.

@amiablePeace77 Well in many ways I have 2- Why? 1 as crazy as it may sound is the most beautiful place is my hometown of NYC it has its downfalls of cause but being born and raised here theres so many wonderful and even some not so wonderful memories and yet either way I wouldnt trade it for anything. I been to a couple other places but none match to how NYC is always vibrant and alive full of energy and things to do. Many will say its the most expensive place to be but in ways its not. For a tourist then yes it is Cuz businesses try to get what they can out of a person specially they know youre not from here. New Yorkers know to crash away from the high priced places. Once ya been here for awhile ya kinda know where to go for the deals. The other place I been to I am in a religious order-The 3rd order of St. Francis(Secular Franciscan Order) Every year the Franciscans are required to go on a religious retreat. I went to this retreat up in Mount Alvernia in Wappingers Falls. Up in the mountains the retreat house overlooking the mountains. Couldnt use no phone or tv it allowed for quiet time wit God and prayer. It was a beautiful gathering wit fellow Franciscans. Fresh clean air and in the company of wonderful people. 3 days was way too short a time for me. I would have loved being there at least a week or 2. Spending time wit God so very peaceful and relaxing. Cant wait to go back again.
