finding inner peace
Inner peace is a gentle state of emotional balance and stability. It feels like a quiet lake at dawn, calm and soothing, free from the storms of extreme emotions. In these moments, serenity, tranquility, and contentment.
Inner peace results from achieving balance and stability. Excessive positive emotions may encourage unhealthy habits, while too many negative emotions can lead to aggression or dishonesty. Signs of inner peace include healthy relationships, trust, strong values, acceptance, good physical health, and an active lifestyle.
We can cultivate inner peace through activities such as gardening, meditation, or practicing gratitude. By engaging in mindful living, we can develop a calm way to restore our inner peace when faced with challenges.
Meditation helps calm the mind and support mental well-being. Focusing on the present, rather than dwelling on the past, allows us to respond thoughtfully to others, regardless of our relationship with them.
We can also practice breathing skills, keep a positive mindset, or practice self-care. When meditating, visualize a pleasant setting, like sitting on the beach, sitting in the country, or even walking in the forest. When we do this, we are calming our senses down, and the breathing exercises will help our thoughts and feelings calm.
Finding inner peace cultivates from within ourselves. It is about accepting our thoughts and emotions so that we can live a peaceful life. Finding our inner peace is good for our well-being. The way we find inner peace is different from the way others will find theirs.
We can also help our mind and well-being by eating a healthy diet. We need to take care of ourselves. It can also help reduce our stress levels and promote a calm sense within ourselves. Adequate sleep is important to our bodies. When we sleep well, it helps us to sleep peacefully and not have racing thoughts throughout the night.

What are some ways you can help improve your inner thoughts ?
To keep my mind off of bad things that have happened, I find it really beneficial to create happy experiences and think about them frequently. Since our minds are always searching for something to process and require "material" to think about, the more positive things I give them, the more likely it is that I will be thinking positive thoughts.
@pamharley003 What are some ways you can help improve your inner thoughts ?
For me it helps to find out what the thoughts are passing through my mind. Then I can decide if they are seeds worthy of cultivating.

I could meditate again like I used to do.
I need a lot more therapy for that.

There is nothing wrong in seeking help from a professional, I see a physchologist and I am proud of it. I wish I can take some of this pain from you so you would feel better, you deserve a nice calm life.

For me, it's finding something to do to occupy my mind. Whether it's a long walk, finding something to fix to work on.
Lately I have trouble with trying to do any sort of mindfulness meditation, there's just way too much going through my mind lately.
