@SunShineAlwaysGrateful  I like to exercise. I do 5 classes a week and exercise 30 minutes a day on my own. Yoga helps me relieve stress. 

My most social activities are here on 7 Cups. 

I try not to sleep too long because I end up getting nothing done. 

What do you enjoy in your 50s that has changed from decades ago?

I "discovered" the Grateful Dead a little over 20 years ago, and they've been my favorite band for quie a few years now.  I'm 62 years old.  I don't enjoy some of the other music, like the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, as much as I used to.

What are your favorite things to do?

I still like music as a whole.  I still like horror movies, though not the same horror movies as before.  I still like to read.

Are you more of a home body or social person?? 

I've always been more of a home body.  I always envied the people who got out and went places in the evening and at night.  It looked like they were having a much better time than I.  In some ways, I still thing they do.  They connect with other people.  I don't.  I've never been able to and I've always been lonely.

Hi, Grateful,

I love being at home.  It's my favorite place to be with my favorite creature, my cat.  She is my family.  But I've always liked being home and maybe going out a tiny bit.  

I enjoy being sober most of the time.  

It's hard for me to say what has changed and what I like because I've had mental problems all my life and only got attention for them after I was diagnosed with PTSD at 40.  It's only in the past 10 years that I've been mentally healthier than i have ever been.

What do you enjoy in your 50s that has changed from decades ago?

I find that I enjoy being alone more than when I was younger. 

What are your favorite things to do?

My favorite things to do are ride my road bike and spin bike, lift weights, and visit 7cups.

I am definitely a home body
