Yes, I do.  I'd like to see less of an emphasis on gifts and more of an emphasis on helping the less fortunate.

@amiablePeace77 All I want for Christmas is for the de-commercialization of Christmas! But I do worry that Jeff Bezos wouldn’t be able to gold plate his gold with gold or shoot his dumb donkey-bum into space - ah poor Jeff. 

@amiablePeace77 yeah! It probably is. Butttt and that's a big but, Xmas and any other celebration, is what you make of it, it's how you celebrate its your beliefs and values. Any celebration is kinda commercialised , all had good and bad points, ya just got to make it good, bring your own kinda magic ❤❤

I don't have a problem with the commercialization or celebration of Christmas so much as I do about unfairness.

Commercialization and celebration is pretty innocuous and even wonderful within itself as it provide jobs, inspiration and upliftment. That there's still poverty, homelessness and so much waste, that's what gets to me.

Where focus goes energy flows so I'd suggest that if one is feeling bad about the holidays that they focus their beautiful and enormously real attentions elsewhere, such as to a nice nature scene, or a trip they'd like to take, or an activity like colouring or a walk.

They could also find ways to channel it into reframing what bothers them by volunteering for the less fortunate or seeing the silver lining in their situation. For example "I wish I had the means to decorate as nicely as my neighbors" can become "I'm so lucky, thankful and grateful to have a roof over my head, food to eat and clothes to wear."

We may also have no idea what our neighbors are going through. Perhaps they have a deep insecurity that has them desperately keeping up with the Joneses. Or maybe they're potential friends. Nobody is perfect.

Well yes commercial for sure with Black Friday craziness however YOU do YOU how you want your holidays …. 

I do what works for my family and I am happy sharing food and time with loved ones … 

My house is a Christmas explosion lol 😂 but I like the simple things … quiet holiday and quality time … 

My son has autism so he likes everything the same every year
