It has been a long time since I had a mentor. What I have learned from my mentors varies from how to fix cars to how to be true to myself and others. I have a deep and abiding thankfulness for all of them.

Opened the curtains so that I can see through the window, showed me the path and gave me the trust to let me walk it. Were there to tell me the direction I have to stand up to when falling down and when the only thing I could see was the ground. I am very very thankful.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I do not have a mentor- I feel I may not need one
@SoulfullyAButterfly my mentor when I was a new listener here was @EvelyneRose and they steered me away from trying to solve people's problems towards expressing empathy for what they are going through. This started me on a path of empathy that has grown as the years passed. I am ever grateful for their patience with me and their skill at being a great mentor.
@soulsings
yayyy soulsings!!!!! soulsings is so awesome!
@EvelyneRose well a lot of that is due to the help of others for a whole lifetime. Thank you sooooo much!
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I have other listeners who are mentors tell me their there for me and nothing poof disappear so I am faced to do things the best I can on my own
They encouraged me to try things I wouldn't have normally tried. They have also encouraged me to push my limits - to stretch and grow.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I still like to add that @Soulsings always stayed calm and that part of that kind of calmness transferred to me.
@amiablePeace77 I give free calmness tea. Peace with every cup. LOL
