My favorite is decorating for the holidays easter etc. I have a table tree which is white and when a holiday comes I always decorate it with the holiday right now it looks like a white easter tree, even found a bunny I use as a star.
@pamharley003 This is super creative and nice, it sounds very nice to switch up the tree and match it according to the holiday.

Lights, candles and flowers.

The fun thing about candles and flowers you can have different ones year round also.

Fresh flowers no matter what time of year!
@MissPen I would agree, and I bet different times have plenty of different varieties too! Because it is spring/summer where I am based, we have nice roses in the garden.

Mardi Gras

Hi there, just curious, is Mardi Grass Carnival or something else too?
@amiablePeace77Mardi Gras hapens once a year. The colors are green, purple, and gold. It is celebrated on Fat tuesday, which is the day before Ash Wednesday. I've seen decorations of beads, dabloons, masks and such. Ash Wednesday is religious day.
@amethya I would agree with @amiablePeace77 - could you clarify if this is perhaps a unique decoration thing?

My favorite decorations are flowers especially now after a long cold winter.

@SoulfullyAButterfly we have the vincas blooming a blue purple flower and the violets. Also the Forsythia are just starting to appear in their golden yellow colors.
My favourite deco : I love how the dinner table looks when we have guests or when the whole family is back...... , cutlery, dinnerware , flowers, table mats.......... . With soft lighting and music, it looks amazing indeed.
@faithlove1111 yes the dining room table was always immaculate when we had family dinners as a kid. Amazing.
@faithlove1111 This is simple but so sweet, I too love the setup especially when guests or a gathering takes place. It all takes quite a hustle to set up, but always is a sweet master piece at the end!

Flowers, since it's hot here all year around I use a mixture of tree leaves and good quality of artificial flowers, which look very natural. I have flowers in every room.
@amiablePeace77 wow that is wonderful. Flowers really cheer up a room. My mom loves them so guess who gets bouquets?

I do not find it is too much work since I renew 1 x week, water more often though. Guess if you love something you do not feel the work 
. It's nice to enter a room and the first thing you see are welcoming flowers (to me)

Live plants. Recently added an Iris, yellow and purple.
@Lauren63 wow, apart from flowers which some people mentioned here, live plants sounds such great decoration pieces. Do you grow them in your garden, or keep them indoors? I love the purple and yellow combination!
