Feedback Requested: Which color scheme do you prefer?
We are redesigning our app. Please look at each set of images apart from each other. i.e., scroll down so you can only see darker blue and then scroll up so you can only see white. Please don't make judgments when looking at them together on the same screen. Here are some quick questions. Don't over think you answers - just quick responses are great!
1. What are feelings you experience with option 1?
2. What are feelings you experience with option 2?
3. What words come to mind when you look at option 1?
4. What words come to mine when you look at option 2?
5. Overall, if you had to rate them both on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being great, how would you rate option 1 and 2?

Option 1 is much more me and better on the eyes - Option 2 is a little more mellow though, some people might find that comforting ^.^
Any chance of seeing samples of the conversation, forum, and settings UI?
For simple touch interfaces, the Option 1 is more visually appealing to my eye **but** the aforementioned conversation and forum viewports will be where folks spend most of their time, so arguably the usability of these is more important than prettiness.

@Laura Option 2 is so calming
Option two gives off a more positive feeling.(:
I prefer option 2.
@Laura I prefer the Option 1 because the second one hurts my eyes (it's just too bright for my sensitive eyeballz) and dark blue happens to be my favourite colour. It's relaxing.
