New Group Support Ambassador--- BrilliantTurtle89
Morning & Happy Friday everyone,
I am excited to share with us that we have a new Group Support Ambassador joining us today - @BrilliantTurtle89
Turtle has been part of the community since 2017. She has been part of various projects and went above and beyond to support the community. She is caring, compassionate, and friendly and is usually found in member group chats. With this new role, Turtle will oversee and contribute to strengthening, supporting, and guiding Group Support Moderator Team while scaling up the team to bring more moderation coverage to all group support chats. She will be the immediate contact for any reports, concerns, or suggestions/ideas related to the member group chat moderation team. Also, she will be helping me with increasing support in the teen group chats too.
Please join us to congratulate and welcome Turtle to her new role. We are all excited and can't wait to see her work in the ambassador role. She will continue working to promote and support the moderator team to scale up the moderation and uplifting conversations in the member group chats.
Congrats Turtle! It's very nice to see you become ambassador and I know the program will benefit greatly from this 🐢

Omigoodness Turtttt, this is such a happy news! 🥳
I remember this one Listener Sharing Circle in late 2020, when you shared you're dropping some of your Mentor leader roles (one being a group support team ML) and how you mentioned that it's always a balancing act, and a "prioritizing" thing with 7 cups and off cups life and responsibilities, at the time, off cups needed more of you and you decided to step back, even though it was a difficult decision for you to~ you showed an example of a good leader even then.
And look at you now, doing the same again, showing your good leader-self, bouncing back and all set to bring more support and safety in the group support.
You'll do amazing ~ is an understatement, because it's what you are lol, a-m-a-z-I-n-g and I'm only happier to assume xD (and hope <3) that things have improved for you ever since. We love our Turtle being brilliant here.
Maybe turtle shuffles will become more common now, in the chatrooms!😛

Thank you so much. That was a huge decision back then but with three children under the age of three it was something I needed to do. As they are growing, I have more time now and am back and excited to take on the role.
