Announcement! 7 Cups Email Coordinator!

I want to share some exciting news with you! As you some of you may know, we have been working to hire an email coordinator, someone to help with support tickets. I am very excited about this as it should help a great deal with community communications and timely responses. We receive hundreds of emails every week, the need for extra help is critical to ensuring timely exchanges! Hooray!

There were over 20 applications for the role and it was a very tough decision. But I am excited to announce that we have decided to hire @Amelia. Amelia has experience working in customer service. She is a licensed psychologist who has experience working on teams and with individuals to problem solve and improve customer relations. We know she will do great in this role.

Amelia will also still be an ambassador, helping on projects and being in the community. The email support role is a few hours a week, which gives her time to volunteer in other ways (if she desires). We are still working on what this will look like exactly and her involvement in volunteer projects will likely evolve as we learn more.

We are thrilled to have Amelia helping us in this new way! Please join me in welcoming her to this new role!
