Best piece of travel advise I follow is to not keep the luggage packing for last moment xD and do a quick cross check of the necessities .

That's a really useful advice! Not packing luggage at the last moment and cross checking necessities to avoid missing anything important. Planning ahead does increase efficiency and unnecessary worries. 
Take a picture of your passport and store it in your notes if international traveling. Also email yourself a prescription for your contacts (if you wear them) that way you can always access it if you run out or lose any! This has saved my butt multiple times lol If going on a flight check in online and keep your tickets on your phone - saves time at the airport Keep a chargeable charger in your carry on, in case you need to charge a phone or kindle

Taking pictures of passport and storing them (for international traveling), emailing prescription for contacts to have easy access, keeping tickets on phone, and carrying a chargeable charger!
