Productivity Hour
Hi everyone! We often struggle with getting work done, whether that is school work, job-related work, or just any kind of work that life requires. There is something about a shared experience that can be helpful. Additionally, it helps to have a dedicated slot for getting a particular task done.
This idea emerged after attending a study hour session by @Amy so credit to her for the inspiration!
The productivity hour serves the following purpose
○ An opportunity to get academy work done
○ Assist each other with some of the items (like provide needed links or give tips)
○ A place for trainees to come together and get to know each other
Who can host?
Anyone who is a part of the 7 Cups Academy can host!
○ Graduates of any program
○ Interns/trainees of any program
○ Mentors of any academy program
How do I host?
○ Check the Community Calendar to ensure your hosting does not clash with another scheduled discussion.
○ Think of a day and time that works for you and that is usually active so that more trainees can join you.
○ Note down the day/time on this sheet.. Then please post here
○ Before the session, ask a community mod or a doorkeeper to open the 7 Cups Academy Room for you.
What happens if someone outside the academy joins? You can explain the purpose of the session, they can stay if they wish but it is primarily an opportunity for academy trainees/interns/mentors to get work done.
I encourage all trainees to host these sessions as they are doing their own work so we can motivate each other! You will get rewarded 100 cheers for each session hosted. Please do not forget to submit this form to avail cheers.
Productivity Hour! That is a great idea and I am sure it will be beneficial to many. Thank you @Amy being a great inspiration and thank you @Hope for this new great idea.
Be the change that you wish to see in the world.
@Hope I love this idea!

It is a really good idea. Heartwarming appreciation to @Amy ❤️
Ok
Great idea
I hope I can participate in one of these soon. It's rare I'm online when most people are active. I'm usually only on here from like 11pm-3am Pacific (2-6am? Eastern)
cool initiative @hope
