You’ve been teleported to the Middle Ages. How do you make a living there?

I think the middle ages were better, at that time at least people meet in person not on cell phone yeah I know cell phone has so many advantages but disadvantages too.......

I don’t think I would survive in the Middle Ages. I agree with @hopefulPond6108 I will get out of there. At the same time I’ll try not to get ki lled. I feel like some of my actions would not be acceptable during that time. Also, hopefully not get lost. I am terrible with direction if I don’t have a phone with me.

Oh i love this question ! I would be a wise old crone living in my wattle and daub dwelling along side my familiar....my cat, lilith. I would be a mistress of herbal folklore and a midwife. Greatly misunderstood but called upon by the townsfolk when someone was ill and needed healing. Or when someone was in the throes of childbirth and needed assistance. Even as someone lay dying to aid their journey peacefully into the next life. A woman of nature and a source of healing divined from previous generations. A woman in all the fullness of her powers and doing good.

Later such women were misaligned, misunderstood and any woman with a mind of her own was a fearful proposition. Fear ruled the land , as the self proclaimed witchfinder general spread lies, mis information and fear. Matthew Hopkins is responsible for the mass murder of so many innocent women, children and men. Supported by the lunacy and fervor of King James. Witches ...what constitutes such a creature ? No more than a woman who knows that scrappings from the willow tree will cure headaches or that honey will aid a sore throat. We fear what we do not understand and the worst of that is to erradicate that which we cannot comprehend. By no means a medieval construct, but a present threat to human decency, compassion, understanding and acceptance.

I love differences and uniqueness and celebrate those who forge their own path.

I would try to get out of there as soon as possible be bcause the middle ages are Very different from current days. I would most likely not be able to live there as it would mean adapting a lot which I am not used too.
