Fidgeting
Does ADHD make you fidget a lot? What do you play with, besides “official” fidget toys?
When I’m fidgeting- I fold paper & doodle, twirl my hair —-literally just find 2 things to do at once .

When I fidget I like to put in my earphones and focus on the words of the music instead 💜💕
Sadly I try to control it 😕 😔
I wiggle my toes, stretch my fingers, and run my hair over my lips.
@jesusredeemedme2425 pen's papers my hair a chair a desk someone else's hair someone else's fingers my fingers my arm my leg anything that I can get my hands on that is able to be fiddled with anything that makes a clicking noise makes a banging noise anything
Someone else’s fingers?
@jesusredeemedme2425 yes lol my friends or my GFS
Everything but my playing with my hair, picking aty nails, rubbing up and down my arm and rubbing my tongue on my teeth are most common.
Smart brain games (kindof toys puzzles.) Pretty easily to carry with me but also sometimes not possible than just stress ball or my collection of tangels haha how about you?which fidgets do you mostly used?
I have rings on 7 fingers so they are good to fiddle with, and I carry a palm stone, either lapis lazuli or tigers eye in my pocket that I will spin.
@jesusredeemedme2425Yes, fidgeting is really common for people with ADHD. Many people don’t just use official fidget toys — they play with pens, hair, paper, or even tap their feet or hands. It’s a way to help your brain stay focused or release extra energy. You’re not alone in finding different ways to fidget.
