Am I invisible?
I feel like background noise to the people in my life.. At work.. At home.. In outings.. It's like I'm just invisible..

🙂
I'm sorry you feel like this!
You matter.
You have worth.
You feelings and what you have to say is just as important as everyone else 💕💜
@Daizy96
It is easy to feel that way.
If no one is noticing you speak up or make yourself be seen/ heard. I used to be u... invisible and overlooked. I find it much better speaking up and NOT waiting to be seen or listened to. It is not hard you do not need to make a scene just add to a conversation ... give a compliment I did to executives all the time they noticed and remembered me. asked me to join projects etc.
I feel just the opposite and want to be invisible to people 😭 😔
@Daizy96
I can relate to this because I have been other people who have made me feel invisible. Believe me, it is so hurtful. In my case, I have felt like a shadow to certain people
However, please know that your feelings are valid and that you are welcome here anytime.
Hugs to you
@Daizy96 I hear the pain in what you’re saying—it can be deeply lonely to feel like you’re invisible, like others only see you as background noise. From the lens of the DASBIEN Theory, this often happens when the flow of love isn’t balanced in the three senses: you may not be truly receiving love from others, because the people around you aren’t pausing to ask or notice what makes you feel valued; you might also be neglecting to give love to yourself, by affirming your own worth even if others overlook it; and sometimes, even giving love to others without recognition can make you feel unseen, unless you also check in and receive feedback. You do matter, and invisibility is a painful distortion—not the truth of your existence. 🌱 If these feelings of invisibility become overwhelming or spiral into despair, please know you don’t have to face them alone: reaching out to a trusted person or a counselor can help you feel seen and supported, and if you’re ever in crisis, call your local emergency number right away; in the U.S. you can dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and internationally you can find help at findahelpline.com. You deserve to be seen, valued, and loved.
