Hi everyone, I hope you are all being easy on yourself this week.
A couple of weeks ago we discussed: What is it about setting goals that fills us with anxiety? Thank you to all who participated and shared your thoughts with us. I appreciate you all. I hope all who may read it find it relatable too. If anyone hasn't shared yet, please share them here and I look forward to reading and discussing them with you.
This week's prompt: What are some positive things that can come from experiencing anxiety?

@ASilentObserver Whoever is reading this, can you please suggest a therapist who can help me for free, I am unemployed, 30F who lives with her parents and depends on them. I am lost right now, please
firstly, that it means I’m doing right, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and I am growing, learning in this process.
Secondly, it’s good and normal fuel anxious. So, I’m learning to handle, face my emotions, feeling in healthier way.
@ASilentObserver
some positive things is to learn mistakes happen to teach us how to deal with things whether big or small. I learn from my anixiety and know each day I do my best in my life and correct things that may bump me in the road
@pamharley003 It sounds like experiencing anxiety has helped you develop insight and awareness about dealing with challenges in life. Focusing on daily improvement and learning from experiences are positive ways of coping. What kinds of things have you found most helpful for managing feelings of anxiety?
@ASilentObserver
Chatting with my Fiance more in coping.
Using my coping skills tool box for help
Journal writing about anything and everything upsetting me
Coloring or doing games on *** to help ease my nerves
@ASilentObserver As someone who's dealt with anxiety since I was 19, I'd say as you get older you start understanding your anxiety which is a positive for sure. you know what things work and what things don't work, overall it becomes easier to handle even if in the moment that voice in your head is saying " I want to panic, I want to panic".
Which by the way never allow yourself to panic during anxiety because panicking only creates more anxiety which then takes your body longer to relax.
@ASilentObserver
I think the best gift we get during our efforts to deal with anxieties is; after those dark periods of fear, we can get more appreciative of sunlight. For instance; during those long, cold winter nights we came to the realisation that how everything we has token for granted is that much pleasant and precious. It can helo us to cherish things in life like health, family, friendships…
thax for reading this honey. I hope you have a nice day. 💙❤️
@Apeatrice That's a great point! Anxiety can be difficult to go through, but it can also teach us valuable lessons about what truly matters in life. Reflecting on these insights can help us appreciate the good things we have. How do you feel when you gain this perspective?
@ASilentObserver
I dk, l can't recall anything b/c my mum is unstable again and my sis was screaming a few hours ago. I am breaking down again
