I Made the Mistake
I was doing really well, staying away from the news and social media. I mean REALLY well. And because of it I was feeling better. And so, today, I hopped on Facebook for a bit...a little too long. And it was all negative and sickness and just...bad.
It ruined all the time I had stayed away, and now I'm back to square one. I guess this is going to be like taking antibiotics - don't stop taking them if you feel better. You have to finish the entire prescription.
Maybe sometime in August I'll jump back on to social media. Maybe.

I think it's definitely a wise idea to stay away from social media. It can be such a toxic experience! 😟 Please stay strong during these uncertain times 🙏🏻 I'm here if you'd like to talk ☺️

You should only watch the news now and again and limit yourself. Don't watch it for the bad stories watch it for the good too. Aslong as your not watching it and finding something else to do instead will not let you feel stuck in watching it again. I know easy said. Try it out and see. If you don't get on with it just watch the news using one form of social media or device. Maybe watch the news or read other news instead what is something you use to do like reading about celebs and people. That's something do
Try not use social media too
@TreaureSeekers3- is this site considered social media? It is the only way I feel connected to the outside world right now- but it is consuming me. So hard to have previous outlets shut off. Miss casual daily contacts- so much it hurts.
